Right after /Skyblock restarts the Hub restarts, meaning we can't connect to the server. It take me a seriously long time for me to be able to reconnect after the hub restarting. Simply, my suggestion is to delay the Hub restart time 10 minutes or even less than that so that we can all wait in hub until /Skyblock has come online again. (I believe this has been fixed) But, this has not: Both Skyblock and Economy restart at the same time. This puts unnecessary stress onto the Hub, as well as kicking people out due to intense lag. Simply delay the start time for either Skyblock or Economy by 30 mins, and this will never be an issue again. ALSO: I believe the Skyblock and Economy server should not be joinable for the first 10 minutes. This allows enough time for the server to start up and start running normal, rather than being flooded with people as soon as it boots up. Whenever you join the server after it's booted up again, you most likely will be kicked due to lag.
This is neutral for me. I can see the purpose for it but is it really necessary? It's not that long of a wait and only takes 3 to 5 minutes usually.
Support as the restart is at noon for me - When I'm usually playing. EDIT: admittedly, not on weekdays.
I guess a part 2 is whats the point to having the hub back up anyway you still are waiting, you still are doing nothing?
Because you cannot reconnect onto the skyblock server whilst the hub is down. When the server restarts, it kicks you to hub, so when you try to join back, you're connecting to the hub. But since the hub is now restarting, you cannot join the hub, and so cannot join the server.
Neutral. Personally, I have no issues with this at all. But I understand many other users do, and it would also be simple to implement.
How do you not have an issue with it? It’s something that effects all of us? (This sounds hostile but it’s not meant to be)
I supported, it is kinda scuffed, the double restart caused my MC to crash too, but it only took me literally 2 minutes to get back on the server, so not a massive issue for me, but I can see why for others.
Support! Also, Brake: couldn’t you avoid having to wait for the hub to restart by joining via skywars.com and then doing /skyblock?
I’ve never tried doing that, but I think because I’m on the hub no matter what server I’m joining through it will make me join hub
I sorta misread your original statement, sorry. When I re-checked, some players in-game had experienced it.
Support, I can see why it might be beneficial. The only thing I might raise as a point of concern is usually after a restart the player count decreases quite dramatically as all the AFK accounts used for grinding and such are disconnected and don’t join back for a while. This feature would leave these all in the hub. I have no idea when economy restarts, but I would assume it is the same time, so again you’d get the same problem of the hubs filling up.
No. I said to delay the hub restart times by 10 minutes, not to never restart the hub. Also, both servers don’t restart at the same time, that’d be bad as everyone from 2 servers would be joining hub at the same time.
