So, basically, myself (Grant_Belton) and Ryaan_Wilcox changed our names to Grant and Ryaan respectively and doing so, lost access to the island. At the time we could still build on it so we got the lockettes changed to our new names and proceeded to change my spare minecraft account to Ryaan_Wilcox to get the island back. I added Ryaan and myself to the island and left it however it passed ownership to Grant_Belton. I've just changed my account to Grant_Belton to switch the island it says I don't have one. It's also removed the usernames Grant and Ryaan from it so we can't do anything. We've put alot into the island and would like to get it back as the new protection plugin restricts us from doing anything.
We first changed our names when the namechanges became available on February 4th, we then, after realising that skyblock did not work, changed my spare account to Ryaan_Wilcox on around the 20th-30th of March. After leaving the island on that account it gave it to Grant_Belton. I changed the name of the account to that on Saturday.
So basically after you changed the spare account to Ryaan_Wilcox things went back to working fine? Then you decided to change your name again and the island stopped working? Why not change it back to Grant_Belton?
I have done, this is when it all went to pot. As I've said already we changed the account to Ryaan_Wilcox and it worked fine. I left it on that character and it said the island ownership had moved to Grant_Belton. I have since then changed to Grant_Belton and it no longer works.
Likely due to the fact that the new server recognises island ownership by not solely the username. I'll need to get the assistance of CypriotMerks since he's only one who can handle island ownership issues.
You can try messaging him as a convo on the fourms, also out Cypriotmerks in the title of this thread. It should help.
We have no idea, as I said in my earlier replies, it said that the island went to Grant_Belton but since the new update, there was no unique ID attached to that username.
