    Hello and welcome to the CCC!

    Introduction:
    This is a little competition that luckyluck13 and I are hosting.

    This competition is for redstone/casino enthusiasts. We decided to host it because we were kinda having one between ourselves and we thought it would be fun to invite others to join the fun.

    The prize:
    The current prize pool we have is 6 stacks of grass, but it may increase depending on how we feel ;)

    The aim:
    To make the smallest, most compact, and therefore best, 3 dropper casino. But its not quite that simple, as we want the casino to have a few little bonuses included.
    We have already come up with a few benchmark designs that you will be challenged to beat.
    Whoever makes the smallest casinos wins!

    The competition will end at the end of the month, so about 2 weeks. After which time, the entries will all be given a score and we will find the winners.

    But wait, there's more, there are 3 styles of casino that all have their own prize, this will be discussed later on

    Criteria:
    Different aspects of casinos are more important than others, so we divided points up accordingly:
    Obviously, this competition is for making the smallest possible casino, so volume is highest priority.

    Redstone is not allowed to show. It can be concealed by other blocks, but these will count as necessary blocks and therefore increase the volume.

    Necessary blocks are either redstone components or blocks required to hide them, refill chests for the dropper are not included, but refill droppers/hoppers are. Also, the door does not count as part of it.

    70 points* - Volume (length
    x width x height) of the casino, measured from the furthest necessary
    block in the casino in each direction.
    5 points - Tier 1 auto refill (enough that it will never run out)
    5 points - Lamps for all tiers
    5 points - Note blocks for all tiers
    5 points - Inhibitor, something that stops the casino when it's out of stock
    5 points - Tier 2 with 2+ randomisers
    5 points - Tier 3 with 2+ randomisers

    = max score of 100 points

    The three styles:
    We agreed that different shaped casinos can be larger or smaller than others. This gives people the opportunity to redesign the same redstone in different formations, testing their building flexibility. Also, you can win in multiple categories, meaning if you're good enough, you could win all the grass :D

    Of these 'styles', we decided upon the three most common designs for casino shape are:

    • Flat -
      • Maximum: 500 blocks volume
      • Benchmark: 140 blocks {64 points}
    Chest and droppers all on the same wall, don't have to be in a straight line, but preferable ;)

    • 'L' shaped
      • Maximum: 1000 blocks
      • Benchmark: 252 blocks {72 points}
    Probably the most popular casino design in the market, these look like an 'L' from above, as the chest shop is perpendicular to the prize droppers.

    • Skinny
      • Maximum: 250 blocks
      • Benchmark: 70 blocks {65 points}
    These casinos are one block wide, so you can have a line of them with a wall in between each. You are allowed to have containers such as a furnace between these, as long as you can fit two of them in a 3 block wide horizontal space.

    A little boost (and something that can be used by all):
    This is the smallest filter design Adriansop and I could come up with:

    Good luck, have fun! :D

    I know it's like 2 days early, but I feel like not enough people entered for it to be a competition, sorry :/

    Guess no one wins or loses ;I

    Can a mod come and lock this thread?
