Changing Island Settings

    One of my coop members keeps changing my island settings which has resulted in random welcome messages and me dying whilst idle because she enabled mob spawning.

    I don't want to kick her because she is my sister, however it is getting frustrating and she wont listen.

    Is there a way to stop coop members from changing island settings? (I am coop leader)

    Well you can give them /trust instead, I am not fully aware though because I have never been through this though, I’ll tag someone who may know, Athyrix

    I dont think its possible to remove her coop permissions but uncooping her and trusting her could work as whatsupdoc said. Or just hide her cookies until she apologizes and stop doing that :t

    You could also build a safe AFK area if you don’t want to remove her from the coop :)

    I didn’t think that coop members could change settings actually, that’s interesting to note. Seen as you are in the same household is it possible that when you are idle she changes the settings from your account?

    If not then you can just /trust her on your island and she can have her own too. Or build a safe well lit area with a locked door only you can access!

    You’re probably dying of hunger - try getting a custom or hacked client with AutoEat.

    Can we get further clarification on this? Not exactly sure what you’re trying to explain. If you’re saying that Welcome messages are popping up at random that’s very strange and shouldn’t be happening, not even if your coop member is messing around with commands.

    From my knowledge, coop members cannot change island settings and only the coop leader can.

    My banner message was changed to "land of potatoes", which was not my doing, and I'm the coop leader. There was a zombie stood in the spot where I died, and she has even said to me that she has been changing settings, despite me asking her not to.

    I think she’s coop leader then ask her to trade permissions with you

    Have you ever used /changeleader? You could try asking her to use that command to change the leader to you, incase she's the leader somehow

    I have just taken a look, I am the coop leader, she cannot lock/unlock the island or remove coop members, but she can change settings. But I am also able to change settings but can kick coop members and lock/unlock.

    Just making sure. The only thing I can really think of is if she left the coop, made her own island and you /guest added her.

    A suggestion could be added of this, ive made a suggestion or different coop levels top which’s all commands and bottom just shared island with trust. It’s dead tho so someone should make a new one.

    There's nothing to suggest. Just her/his island permissions are bugged, usually a coop member cannot change the island settings and such.

    maybe have your sister leave the coop using /coop leave , and then rejoin? :D
