I was on .net and wanted to see the original spawn. Thanks to a few messages from PCcoolguy100 (aka phr33z), I was able to see the spawn I wanted to see. The spawn I saw when I first hopped on Skyblock.net in 2013. Below you is a screenshot I shared with DaddySeal. Most pre-2016 players will tell you this is the best spawn. This brought me tears and memories, I would really love to see this replace the current spawn.
It'd be cool to have a little OG Spawn thing. I love the idea as I said in game, but there is a lot that would be lacking. Maybe just a little thing you could go to from the main spawn to there? Idk.
Whats the use of the Old Spawn 2015, people won't come there if there's nothing useful in that area. Neutral If it's a warp.
I don't think replacing the modern warp for old time sake is enough to justify having it back. As much as it brings back memories the new spawn has far more functions than the old spawn and would look tacky to add them all in the old design. It defeats the purpose of having the old warp then. A warp is the better option
I totally agree with Krissy, it’s not necessary replacing the spawn we have at the moment, the current spawn is better and I think a warp would be better
And here we are, discussing how my recreation of the 2015 spawn can be turned into a warp. I'm not a builder and I went off screenshots and videos (240p) of playthroughs at the time. I'd be thrilled if the staff (or Crew) turned it into a warp, then it could motivate me to build other spawns and notable warps, like (I was hoping to build) /warp skybase, the 2012/13 (OG) spawn, even the 2014 and 2016, which are similar to how it was in 2015. 2014 had clay walls (thanks hogwild, I can finally build it off of your screenies!) and in 2016 the floor was wooden and there was minifigures of Cyp and Crew behind a LAVAfall. Though if I was to build /warp skybase again how on god's name am I going to get that amount of beacons and quartz (unless Crew gave me them for that reason only). Anyways, thanks! As I'm banned at this point of time I've only heard about it by looking through here, and I agree, but I've got a better suggestion (and it's been suggested by other people here); To replace the spawn similar to how it was in 2015, just for time's sake, is a little bit useless as of course, people only really come to spawn for crates and the like. But a /warp OGSpawn would be really nice, as it keeps the current spawn alive but also keeps that option open for anybody who wants to have a feel of what it used to be like, or just see it in person. And I'll add this on top; if I was to build the 2012/13 or 2014 spawn, maybe every year on Skyblock's anniversary, we could set the spawn to the 2012 or 2014 spawn? That way Skyblock's anniversary can have a special event on top of it, and not just be something that passes by every year.
You should make the old warp crates that place was fun just a giant rectangle with jukeboxes on the floor
that IS the old one on classic. and yeah I noticed :/ would be great if we had a community effort to try and help and contribute with our own screenshots, videos and so on. (I also need a picture of the large strip pole and Giant {zombie} in attic)
