Hey guys! I wanted to see what you guys would think about a new rank on economy? We used to have the 'Overlord' rank back in the day and I personally think that it should come back. It doesn't have to necessarily be the exact same i.e. it could have a different name, price (obviously), 24 hour kit cooldown, and cooler perks. I think a lot of us Highrollers would really love to be able to change our nickname colours. Skyblock ranks have a lot of exciting things that Economy ranks do not and I think that maybe adding a new higher rank would benefit the server as a whole. What do you think?
Me and mai were having a conversation relating to the disappearance/removal of the overlord rank on economy. Despite myself not being a large /economy player, I still think the addition of the rank would be very beneficial. /Skyblock currently has 5 purchasable ranks, 6 if you include Donor (Skyknight, Skyking, Skylord, Skygod, Skytitan, Donor) whilst economy only currently has 4 (Premium, VIP, Elite, Highroller). Although this addition to the game will not affect me personally, I believe it will have a large effect on the economy server.
I don't see a reason not to include a higher rank. As long as its balanced with some good perks im sure people will enjoy it. I can see coloured nicknames as a huge perk, and maybe include some cool pets, disguises and a nice kit.
Ah yes I forgot to add having a 24 hour kit cooldown too. It's quite tough collecting grass/sand through kits and that is why they're extremely expensive despite them being necessary for a lot of things.
Honestly, I would love to see a rank like overlord come back to the economy server. The addition of this would mayhaps also appeal to more players too
I’d love to have overlord back on Economy. It could be the equivalent to Skytitan and a lot of players would enjoy it. Coloured names, coloured prefixes, and something new in general would be nice.
yup I think overlord would be an amazing rank and probably make me want to play economy more, one question, would people that used to have overlord get the rank back?
Coloured prefixes would be so sick!! A lot of people were already refunded back in the day + current HR costs more than previous Overlord I think it was $95
Am complete full support. Any ranking updates/ranks being added gets full support from me ! It's always nice to see the server improve.
Great idea! But remember to keep the kit balanced, because if it has too much iron or grass or sand and too many people have the rank then the value of them will all go down
I dont like the idea with colored nick / prefix a big difference to /skyblock is that the economy chat is not filled with every color possible. Custom colors would flood the chat with too many colors and its just a mess like on skyblock. I dont see what other perks overlord should get without unbalancing the game so no support
This isn’t a suggestion just a discussion. Suggestions regarding ranks etc are not allowed. Personally I dislike seeing so much yellow for example since a lot of people have high roller etc, it makes it confusing for me I’d personally prefer if people had access to a different prefix or nick colour. Also this isn’t a suggestion it’s a discussion thread.
Dang... I haven't heard that rank name in a LONG time. I think it would be cool to bring it back... economy is a little short when it comes to ranks/perks, in my honest opinion.
