On net, lots of players come on and are AFK for longer than 30 minutes, causing the server to lag a bit more. If they are kicked after 30 minutes of inactivity, similarly to org, net will have less lag.

I think half an hour may fairer. Net may lag but it doesnt have any rules that require a kick after a certain time, which may make players annoyed. It doesn't really need it to stop afk farming and getting advantages that way.

Do you get kicked when you're in a afk pool?

Well i would support, but not with 15 minutes, maybe half an hour to an hour

I would support, but I disagree with 15 minutes. As said above, half and hour to an hour would be more fair.

This would make afk farms useless

Are mods aware of the /lagg command?

Yes, they are. We use that often to clear the lag, but it is hard to catch all of it.

I like the idea, but like for mods, will it kick them also?

    Yes, it should probably
If a mod is AFK for 30 mins, they shouldn't be. It should be a max of 15-20

AFAIK you are already kicked for AFK. But not if you are in an AFK well. How would you bypass AFK wells? (or AFK hacks).

This is a great idea! Support! Sometimes the server gets lag spikes. This will reduce lag, and if the server if full, more people can play. A suggestion to your suggestion: I think 30 minutes is a bit too long. maybe 15 or 20 is good. I understand that people go AFK to eat, but they can just disconnect and join back. The server is rarely ever full, so there is no harm to leave.

If my Avatar doesn't move the slightest tiny bit in a certain amount of time, I am kicked from the Server. And I believe it's less than 30 minutes. There is the purpose of the AFK wells that are built throughout the Server. People who AFK for longer periods of time go "take a bath" in those wells so they don't get kicked. So I guess your Suggestion is already implemented, what we Need is a way to kick also the Players who are "AFK-bathing". Maybe there is a plugin who kicks Players when their Client hasn't been sending any packet in a certain amount of time.

And there is also the "minechat issue". When on minechat, you can basically AFK as Long as you want, without being in a well or something. I guess the minechat Client Comes with something to prevent that. But when you are on minechat, your Avatar is legit on your Island and using up resources.

But the question that should be asked is mainly:
why do People try to stay connected when AFK?
People try to AFK connected mostly to be present when there is VP. I made a Suggestion before that VP should be applied to every Player who was connected in the last 24 hours or so, to make that Kind of behavious obsolete.

On a side note, I think lag has become less These days. I don't think it's worth restraining the Players game experience any more.
