I. Introduction

Hi, my alias is Asivator. Some of you may know me from Skyblock, but I was mainly active in 2015 and 2018. Lately, economy has been pretty boring, and to spicy it up, I thought I'd add a stock exchange. Rather than gaining money from afk farms, and intense labor, the market offers a solution where players decide whether they want to sell, hold, or buy stocks.​

II. How It Works

a) Concept

The Market runs similarly to the U.S. bond and Stock Market. In this scenario, I've created a bond(Asivus Bond) and a crypto currency(Asivus Coin). I would act like the Federal Reserve and supply money to Asivus. Asivus would then need to repay the money it borrowed. Asivus Bonds allows Asivus to sell some of its debt to anyone who is willing to wait to sell with a 2% principle. The Machines that sell bonds are also what are known as "Mining Rigs". When a bond is purchased from these machines, there's a set probability of you receiving a coin. As the coin's market cap increases, the difficulty to mine these coins will also increase. ​

b) Funding

Bonds are sold to NotHowon, a bot atm that auto /sells at a farm. Once NotHowon has accumulated the principe + the interest, you are able to sell the bond. When Bonds are bought up, it is essentially a balance transfer from NotHowon -> Asivator. When bonds are overbought, you are purchasing debt which funds the farms. ​

c) Asivus Coin

Asivus Coin can be sold on the second floor of /visit Asivus. Asivus gains it's balance from transaction fees($5 per transaction) and from the profit shop located in the yellow wing. The number of stalls located on the second floor will increase according to the market cap and balance.

III. Stimulating the Market

The market can be stimulated by purchasing bonds. The funds from the bonds will boost the profit shop's productivity as well as the rate at which NotHowon increases in balance. Purchasing more bonds also releases more Asivus coins into the market. The higher the volume of the coin, the number of coins sold and bought, the healthier the market becomes.

IV. Future Updates

a) Wings

Asivus is sectioned into 6 main components: Blue wing, Yellow Wing, Red Wing, Green Wing, Mining Rig, and 2nd Floor Stock Exchange.
Blue - Market place where high valued goods can be exchanged.

- Adding a Bond Exchange where bonds can be bid if you don't want to wait the full time period when the bond matures.​

Yellow - Pumpkin Profit Shop that funds Asivus' balance
Red - Casino and Entertainment
Green - Information Booth
Stalls - More stalls will be added once the market becomes more stimulated.
Mining Rig - More rigs will be added as funding increases.​

b) Market

There will be various issues of bonds. Once a new issue is set, previous bonds will increase in interest to increase the incentive to hold.​

Don't worry. I don't plan on flooding the market or breaking it. I just want this concept to work cause that would be cool.

 

I like the concept so I will definetly buy some bonds once i get some balance

I actually made this in economy back in 2019. There were some flaws and it didn't meet up to its potential so I upgrade it.

Nice concept, following as I am looking for ways to invest my skybucks, would love to see the progress of course, will your "asivus coins" have a mining cap where there is a limited total amount of coins that can ever be in circulation such as the way bitcoin runs?

 

As of right now, I plan on making the market cap 11,664 (a single chest full of shulkers full of coins) I plan to launch an event soon, and airdrop, to put more of these coins into circulation since most of them are going to be stuck in a machine.

Outta curiousity how many coins are there total, also change pressure plates to stone so items can't make them stay closed

 

Right now i would say less than 50 is in circulation, 1728 total were put in the machine, and i plan to make around 11,664

 

That seems like an exceessive amount considering the playerbase on the server currently, do ytou not think there would be too many per player at that rate?

 

Well at asivus, the 2nd floor stalls can store up to 15-16k coins. Rn the value of the coin is 450 skybucks, so 450*11,664=5,248,800. 5m would be the max market cap, but the coins are dispersed slowly. Rn the machine drops 1 coin every 5ish bonds bought. It would take around 600 Million skybucks to mine all the coins at this rate which is impossible. Also as time progresses, the ability to mine coins will be harder(lowering drop rate).

 

Seems like an overly large amount of coins but I wish you the best of luck, I'll be following and likely joining in on the way to see how this goes!

 

In reality, its not at all a large quantity because you have to account for the time it takes for the coins to enter the market supply. Rn the market supply is at 50 after 1 week. Its a slow progression

 

That's fair man, I was just curious not in anyway disagreeing or arguing, I like the concept just wanted to get more of your ideology. Also not sure if you noticed the suggestion I bought a bond and went to walk away then realised a coin dropped, coin dropped on wood pressure plate which you may know makes it activate locking me out, the coin held it closed and CLAG got it, stone would remove this issue
