Right now, we can only have chicken, sheep, cow, pig, and horse spawners. This makes spawners pretty much useless as they are mobs you can find at /warp animal. I think if we could change them to other mobs, this would make these items more useful. Edit: Mob farming won't be possible because of the spawner limit
No support for now. I think it's good the way it is now, and Leeeroieee already said that there will be other ways to obtain spawners. I think that without /enchant and /spawner the server is less op and a bit more fair and fun
why want spawners just to spawn mobs you can easily get by going to warp animal? the point of this suggestion is to give spawners more use, not to make spawners easier to obtain. im fine with no /enchant but no ability to change spawners is a problem. unless you want to mass farm passive mobs there is no incentive to buying them.
The thing is org is one month old. Developers work to improve it every single day, and they said there will be different ways to ontain spawners. For now we just have to wait and use the ones we can. Patience!
I was about to make a suggestion where if you obtain spawners from /buy, /shop, or /kit spawner for the first time, when you place the spawner, it makes it a random mob. The spawner will now permanently be on that mob. To obtain lots of the spawners you would like for a certain grinder, you would have to work harder as you may not get the mob you like, and this would put the 'bad' spawners (chicken, pig, cow etc) at a lower price, and the 'good' spawners at a higher price (creeper, skeleton etc)
No support. Economy isn't fully completed as they also mentioned that economy has a different spawner plugin, silked spawners. So you can mostly get other kind of spawners from the crates but hopefully there will be more ways to obtain them in the future. Plus you can always make a natural mob farm ; )
Sorry what exactly are the silked Spawners? And how do they work? You could but you can only have 10 Spawners per island so what's the point
