There is a thing called "trading" that most people do nowadays. If you are going to allow hacks on a server, I cannot take it seriously.
I didn't really read through this thoroughly enough the last time I saw it, but some stuff needs to be moved around. Radar, Fullbright, ESP and wallhack should not be allowed in PVP/spleef. Radar will allow you to see enemies in PVP even if they're outside your FOV, which is bad. Fullbright would remove any vision ailments caused by dark areas in PVP or spleef, so that's bad too. ESP and wallhack should be self explanatory. Also, the title of the third section should be "Only acceptable on your own island" instead of "only acceptable on islands." If you're the owner of an island you should be able to do what you please with it, but as a guest, not so much. Edit: Tracers should also not be allowed in PVP or spleef, for the same reason as radar.
I don't understand what trading has to do with cheating clients, unless you're pointing out the fact that you can gather items to trade faster with cheats. I don't really think that matters, because ultimately you're achieving the same goal but faster. That's your own deal if you can't take a server seriously for allowing cheats that have no effects on its ecosystem or its players aside from making things easier. The rules aren't going to change, they've been in place since the start.
I would say that fastbow should be allowed everywhere. You can't kill players, meaning it's ok at spawn and places like that. It only works as long as you have arrows, and it makes killing mobs quicker so it should be ok at animal and mob
there is no pvp, but if ever there was again... highly unlikely though, these would be the hacks that are not permitted.
There were too many hackers and people were complaining about loosing stuff and more bad things happened, so yeah. xD
Any hacks will get you banned now. I rapid fired and got banned for 30 minutes. Correct me when I'm wrong.
Was it a manual ban by a mod or an automatic ban by an anticheat plugin? It's pretty common for anticheat plugins to ban automatically for doing things like that too quickly.
If it was console, it was an automatic ban, I'm 99% sure of this. Anticheat plugins will usually be configured by default to automatically kick/ban for repeating actions too quickly (breaking, placing, using items, typing in chat) so that's probably what happened. Either nobody has taken the time to fully configure the plugin yet, or they actually just don't want people to rapidfire things and they let the plugin manage that for them. Now that I think about it, rapidfire probably shouldn't be allowed anyway as that could cause some pretty bad lag issues if you have an immense amount of eggs or arrows. Anything that still leaves an entity after it's been fired/thrown.
