a Cool-Down time

Heya!
lets just start; My suggestion is just a cool-down time after doing /ni replace, then /ni yes to prevent island farming. maybe a 10-15 minute cool down time.
what do u think?

 

I'm not sure if this has been suggested before but this would prevent a LOT of island farming so I really hope it gets added into the game. I don't see any downsides to this apart from if a new player looses their main things in the first 10 minutes of starting their island then they will have to wait but it's not that long of a wait.

It's probably been suggested, but helpful to bring up nonetheless. I think this would prevent island farming to an extent, but as Fatal mentioned it is a fairly short timer. Island farming will still happen. However, it think it would make the amount of islands farmed much less.

Support even thought it might not be possible because I'm sure they would of added it already if they could but who knows they never though about it

This would reduce (not prevent) island farmers as it will be annoying for them. Also I'm not sure how it would react to other things in the server if this was to be implemented.

Support. Although island famers might use alts to somewhat bypass this, but island farming will still be slowed down anyway

 

Neutral. I think it definitely would reduce island farming, but it might also negatively impact new players who want to restart their island a lot to get a biome they prefer or who want to see the different styles before starting to build.

 

I think this has been suggested, nevertheless support. This will help reduce the rate of island farming

 

I bet some crazy dude would just create a hack to bypass a waiting time lol.

 

It wouldnt stop island farming as a whole but it would definitely stop a lot of it. support
