Implemented greenie safety thing

ive seen multiple greenies accidentally place lava on their spawnpoint block (x / 202 / x) and then when they visit their island, they burn to death. i was thinking if a plugin can be added that can disable lava from being placed on everyone's spawnpoint block ranging from x / 256-0 / x to prevent this. the reason why from build limit to 0 is because if u place a block on your spawnpoint, you spawn on that block. and if you move your bedrock lower im pretty sure you spawn there too. now, to prevent farms from failing, this should be an enabled/disabled feature in /island settings. this will also prevent trapping players without god mode and giving them trust so they take damage on your island and burn to death, losing all their items. and maybe this will increase the playercount by some because lets say youre a new player, just got a stack of grass from working all day and then when you visit your island you burn in lava and lose everything, im sure at least half of us would quit if we were in that position

 

I believe this has been suggested before, the Devs comments were along the lines of, "it shouldn't be happening, i'll take a look"

I guess this suggestion is slightly different in the additions of New players lava spawns.

proves my point to make it a thing, if many people are talking about it then it must be a big thing. i dont understand why they cant implement it, its only a positive

 

Because greenies should just learn the hard way like the rest of us did

 

just because we suffered it doesnt mean it should still be a thing, thats not the way to do things. this is only going to benefit the server

 

I thought that now when you do /is or /home it will put you at the nearest safest spot (if the original block isn't safe)

 

It should, but its bugged, that was the last update heard from Dex. On the other similar suggestion.

Yeah this was a bug that has been fixed on 1.19.x, this thread is a duplicate.
