from keys and kits you get a bunch of dia picks, and even tho I can sell them, or give them away i almost saved up a dc of them by now. Maybe we could be able to smelt the dia picks into diamond nuggets (just as you can smelt an iron pickaxe into iron nuggets) and 9 nuggets into a diamond to help rid the server of its overflow of diamond pickaxes Edit: Or a diamond to keep with the more vanilla feel like skaM mentioned below
Support, since dia pics unenchanted sell up to 3:1 it makes sense for 9dia pics to make a diamond (3g) so its 3:1 and 9:3. It wouldnt change the prices that much. We could finally get rid of those (unstackable!!) items
A nice idea but no support. This would take away from the vanilla survival aspect of this game. I know there are custom recipes already but those recipes create items that are already in the game they just need a custom recipe cause the actual way to get those items comes in a later version this in-fact is not the same. This would be a mod ruining the vanilla experience. I do have a large supply of useless diamond pickaxes perhaps a villager trade for x amount of diamond pickaxes for like 1 diamond or 1 grass would be a better suggestion cause yes that large number of pickaxes is annoying but adding a non-vanilla item is not the answer imo.
This would work too! I hope that this post will make someone aware of the problem that is diamond pickaxes and that we can find a solution that fits best with the server
