Introduction

Hello! My name is Trinity and I have been playing Skyblock for years, and I still hold the same amount of love as I did the day I started playing. I grew up with this server and it holds a lot of memories for me. Being staff on a server that I grew up with would complete it. Whenever I am not on the server, I tend to be cooking or doing something artistic (Painting, sewing, making clay sculptures, etc.). Cooking is a big passion of mine as it helps distract me for a longer period of time & I also get to eat it after I’m done distracting myself.

What time zone are you in?
I’m in the Eastern Timezone.

Can you speak any additional languages?
I can speak a bit of Spanish as I’m taking Spanish classes but that’s about it.

Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence?
I have basic Minecraft screenshots, Gyazo, Imgur, OBS, and if worse comes to worst I always have my phone.

How long can you be active on our platforms every day?
I can be active on discord + forums pretty consistently as I am virtual. I can get in-game using minechat almost any time, and I try to get on my computer at least once a week.

When did you first join Skyblock?
The earliest I can remember being on is Feb 2014, but I think I joined earlier.

Have you ever been banned on any platform?
Yes. I have been. I have had quite a troubled past, but I have overcome it, being close to, if not, two years since any bans on any platforms.

Do you have any past moderation experience?
I don’t have a lot, I did co-own a discord server for a bit and have helped with multiple smaller servers.

Why do you think you should become a staff member?

Active
I check forums pretty often, and I am in discord pretty much the majority of the day. I join VCs, talk in general, and I also help every chance I can in the help channels. I do my best to make sure I check in the server at least once a day. I can reach out to players on any platform, which is beneficial for both parties.

Mature
I am very mature for my age. I can joke around and have fun while also keeping it professional, and I am able to go from being joking to being professional very quickly. I also know where to draw the line between being joking and just straight immature. I haven’t always been the most mature, but I have matured greatly.

Unbiased
I’m not afraid to punish any of my friends. I am very fair when it comes to punishing people, whether it be over-punishing someone I’m not fond of or under-punishing my friends. I don’t let my personal opinions come in the way, or cloud, my punishments. I would take the same action against my friends as I would any player.

Patient and friendly
I’m very patient. I can help people if they need an in-depth description if needed. I’m very calm, which makes it easier for me to help. I don’t get frustrated or upset if they don’t understand it instantly.

Honest
I am very honest. I think lying does nothing besides make you look bad and you gain nothing from it. It’s a good quality to have in general. I don’t sugarcoat anything either - I am very straight to the point.

Approachable
I make sure I am approachable at all times. I keep a friendly attitude and I’m always kind to others. I interact with the community a lot, which I feel makes me more welcoming and approachable. I make sure I make players feel safe in the community and when it comes to talking to me.

Dedicated
I am very dedicated to the server. I have been here for years and I don’t see myself leaving. I find my joy to be the same, if not more, to log on and be a part of the server. I enjoy every aspect and my interest in it won’t die anytime soon.

Fast learner and good at teamwork
I can learn the commands and what is needed very quickly. I am able to also adapt to any sudden changes. I’m also good at working on a team, I feel it makes me better when it comes to working. It helps when there are people working with each other that want the same vision.

Knowledgeable
I understand the rules well. I have a history on the server, which is long, to say the least. Since I have this history, I know the rules so well due to the fact that I used to do my best to disobey them. Having such a long history makes me familiar with what to do with each situation. I make sure I understand them & the Code of Conduct as well. I'd also like to apologize to anyone who used to be on the bad end of the stick in the past with me.

Obviously support Besides the fact were friends, you have been pretty active recently, and have seen you helping, your a great candidate.

 

Going to be honest, I will give you a support as because of the progress in the discord and being online in-game again, I didn't get to reply to your last application as much was going on back then.

 

I support this application. I've known you for a long time. Your bans do not reflect who you are as a person. I've seen you change and have talked to you and understand your background. You're not willing to go against your friends if you see something wrong. I can say this cause I may have f**ed up a few times and you were there to correct me. That being said I find it surprising I'm not the only one here who is willing to voice out even if it is against their friends I don't usually see moderators do that. You're able to take a joke and not cry about it (something some mods have issues on no offense) while also having boundaries on what is appropriate and what isnt.

 

I'll give you a support for the fact that I know you're a friendly person and I've seen you quite active on all platforms. Only thing I wanna see from you is to help a little more in chat. From the couple times I've seen you on in game, I didn't see you helping, but that isn't justifiable for me to give you neutral, mostly cuz it's probably my activity. But imma leave the support here and just that small feedback and wish you luck.

I'm going to remain neutral with this application. While I cannot comment on activity (forums/in-game), I feel like there have been some moments in the past where you have been influenced by others. I do feel that you are a kind individual and are very cordial towards players, however I also have seen you fall into groups within the community that tend to influence players. Don't get me wrong, this is no fault of your own at all. In essence, I would like to see you be your own person and devise your own opinions without influence from other people before I commit to fully supporting your application.

In the past, I have seen you be extremely helpful. I also know that you were extremely active (previously when I was active) and think that is an important trait that you possess. We have had conversations in the past (here and there), and you have been extremely friendly.

Ultimately, I would like to see you improve on what I stated above and continue what I mentioned below it. Don't be discouraged at all! I would love to change my opinion down the road.

Hi Trin! I have known you in the past and to be quite honest that was an... adventure to say the least. I feel like it's very clear to say that people grow over time. I'm not active enough to comment but I genuinely do have faith that you have bettered yourself. I feel like with the right journey you could be a solid staff member and I know you'd put your heart into it. I know a lot of people can look at ban and punishment history and be put off, but they need to remember it's history. History happens so people can learn from it, and I know damn well you'd have done that. I feel like I want to give you support as I do believe you're capable!

Active on discord . Seen sometimes on eco . Maybe be more active but I support.
