Hey, I am Wadii also known as WadiiGotZaza in game, and I am basically writing this to bring everyone's attention to an ongoing issue...

So basically, I think everyone with fly perms and a elytra and even I think people simply with an elytra have found recently getting kicked for flying straight up with it a common and repeat thing. Which I find and I am sure others who may experience this issue may find frustrating. I haven't seen any real mention of the issue or a resolution so I figured I would try to help with this post! :)
My main issue with these kicks aren't the fact that it's impossible to rejoin, since it's not it only takes a few clicks. However it is a major inconvenience when taking on any kind of building project or simply attempting to quickly change altitude on your island to say reach a different level above you. The little things matter.

I also have a suggestion for a possible solution. Isn't there a way people with fly command can be whitelisted from console trying to block bypass/hacks? That way us simply flying up with a elytra wont appear to console as using a elytra exploit (which btw goes fully undetected when used even with my /fly off) possibly?

Thanks everyone for checking this out and please leave a comment if you have any other input, I'd love to hear it!

I’ll be honest when I say it’s never ever happened to me. Not once, while Elytra flying.

The only time this has ever happened to me is with Books in Shulkers, and that’s what I thought triggered it. Check your inventory or echest if theres any written books with either custom characters or coloured characters, I know this caused it for me.

However, it could be the fly mode you are using that’s triggering it. Invalid Movement Packets are included in Minecraft’s vanilla, core “anticheat”, its not really an anticheat per se, it just blocks things it sees as unfit. If you’re using a custom fly mode like ElytraFly or a bypass-y fly type like one thats made to bypass a big server, I suggest using a Vanilla fly mode or a Creative fly mode. The server doesn’t block these if you have /fly enabled, and will easily allow you to use it while Elytra flying.

    Good luck :)

I've never had this happen to me, not even with different kinds of fly enabled on a hacked client.
Boatfly will kick you but that makes sense imo

I hope that with the stuff PC said you can sort it out tho :cat:

Hey thanks a lot for the great and detailed response. I haven't experienced the sulker book issue but as far as the elytra issue goes I get kicked simply for flying straight up whether in vanilla or not, I even tested actual elytra hacks and didn't get kicked. Maybe the issues are tied together maybe not but I do hope we can bring more awareness to it as I noticed it is more of a recent than long term issue.
