Drogo's PC is old and slow.

When Drogo's PC is struggling, he looks for the processes that might be causing the problem. Often they are processes that always used to work just fine but no longer do so. Now Drogo could choose to no longer use those processes and delete them but then the computer is not really doing what it is expect it to do. Drogo realises that the reason his PC struggle, isn't because there is a problem with the processes. The problem is with the Hardware that is running these processes. Drogo's computer is too old and needs to be updated. This is further evident by the fact that is will at times, suddenly shut down without warning.

Perhaps Drogo could extend the life of his PC a bit longer buy doing some creative programming to help his old PC. Maybe Drogo could change things so that when he types, rather than it displaying every letter as it is typed, the PC waits until I have typed 16 letters and then displays them all at once. And if Drogo types too fast, it could block all input for a set amount of time with a friendly warning that I have entered too many keystrokes.

Drogo is after suggestions on how he can squeeze a few more months life out of his old PC.

I feel like all this would do is make your computer feel more slow.

It's your choice if you want to do that, and its easily doable with a program such as AutoHotKey.

    What's your current computer specs?

    Theres a few things:
Installing Linux can help make an old pc usable. There are some videos explaining how. Depending how you use your PC most apps should work well

You can also try making windows 10 less bloated (assuming your pc can't get windows 11 like my old pc) GitHub - Sycnex/Windows10Debloater: Script to remove Windows 10 bloatware.
If you want to try this, make a restore point and back up important documents as per usual when you are doing a large change

Hardware issues could be a failing HDD. When my PC was having issues with crashing, freezing and lagging I upgraded to an SSD which fixed my issues.

I guess thats all I have for now.
