Withdrawn Haz's Staff/Helper Application

*Intro*

Hi, this is my application but before I start let me tell you about myself. I play sports like baseball I've been playing for 10 years now, football I've been playing for 3 years, and hockey for 2. I also have a pet dog named Sam (he's on my discord pfp) he is so cute. I've always been an economy player and loved how it works, I might hop on survival every once and a while to either trade sb grass for economy balance or say hi. Well, that's my introduction lets get to my application.

What time zone are you in? I'm in EST (Eastern Time).

Can you speak any additional languages? No, only English, but I am currently learning Spanish.

Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence? Yes, I have the usual F2 capture, alongside OBS.

How long can you be active on our platforms every day?
Sunday: 10 am-7 pm or 8 pm
Monday: 4 pm-6:15 pm
Tuesday: 5 pm-6:25 pm or 8 pm-9:25 pm
Wednesday: 4 pm-6:15 pm
Thursday 4 pm-8 pm
Friday 3:30 pm-9 pm (with breaks)

When did you first join Skyblock? I first joined sky block in December 2020, Then I joined the forums in February 2021.

Have you ever been banned on any platform? Unfortunately, yes. I was banned for 3 days due to grief and stealing, then I was banned due to unclosed chargebacks. But I'm better now.

Do you have any past moderation experience? I've had past experience as a moderator in a 500 people dc server, and IG.

Why do you think you should become a staff member?


Mature
From what I've done to make friends and family happy I'm pretty mature for my age. I will be mature when things are serious and needed to be done, but when I'm not serious I like to joke around. I listen when people are talking, I like to hear them out of what they say and don't interrupt.


Responsible
I'm very responsible for my age. I can keep stuff together and tidy, and won't lose things often. In school, I won't lose anything when everything is neat so I don't lose homework. If someone asks me to do something I will listen right away so it makes it easier for both of us. If a staff or player tells me to stay out of this I will so they don't get stressed more.


Respectful/Polite
I'm very respectful to anyone around me. People with more power deserve loads of my respect and people who are older too. Players who are nice gain respect same with staff. But I will still respect staff, they will gain more as we get to know each other more. I am very polite with my manners, like the simple please and thank you.


Helpful
I am very helpful everywhere on this server. In-game, Discord, and forums. In-game you will see me use chat to help people a lot that's because I want people here to have a good beginning experience like I did. In discord, I help navigate people where things are, how to level up, and show them the VCs. In forums, A new thread will be posted and I'm checking it, I will see it and see if anyone wants help and I will respond thoroughly, and quick.


Active
I'm active a lot, I'm in-game most of the time and on forums every second of my life. On discord, I'm active every day but only after school. In forums, you will see me actively on there and checking stuff, new alerts, threads, staff apps, DP's, etc. In-game I'm there about every day after school.


Patient
I'm very patient when it comes to video games and just in general. I like to wait and hear
what people want to say, I'll let them talk so I understand whatever there telling me. If someone tells me to wait I will I don't want to just ditch them that would be rude. If I have to be somewhere and that person is not back I will message them on discord or mail send them IG.


Honesty
Honesty is a big thing in staff, you can't lie. I do not like it too, It makes everything worse, If you lie then its more to look at. If you don't then it is what it is for whatever your punishment is. It will lead to bad things and can get you in more trouble.


Kind/Generous
I'm very kind and generous, I love giving and making people feel good about themselves
I compliment my friends on how they look and have just always wanted to make them feel, he's nice.
I am a heartwarming person.


Knowledgeable
I know a lot about this server and the people on the server. I know a lot of simple commands like /is. /home. /pay. /bal. /sethome. /lobby. etc. I also know the hidden command /esethome, most people don't figure those out. The people I know on this server are sweet and caring, but I can easily tell if there lying. Just by the way they're talking in chat getting defensive or trying to switch the subject is an example of them lying to get out of it. I can tell if a player who was playing a casino stole by checking the chest, casinos have a high rate of stealing if untrusted.


Conclusion

Heya haz it's nice to see you making an application. I will have to go with neutral for now as I do not know much about you and have only known you for a little while and have only seen you a few times in-game. I would like to know a bit more about you before I change my opinion. But overall the application looks pretty clean, you might want to delete the tons of space below your application and the blue text that says "Do you meet the requirements for staff?" also the image at the top doesn't seem to be working. I would recommend adding a picture to Imgur and then adding that Imgur link to the app.

haz Are you sure you meet all the requirements? It seems like you don't have 2FA on as your trophy points don't say, unless you have a screenshot of proof that will be fine.

There are certain factors on why I'm no supporting you at the moment.

- You haven't been very involved in the Discord. You've only recently met the requirements of being able to apply (Having a Discord account). I personally think you should engage more in the help channels. You're doing good in conversating with others but try to help out a bit more.
- I'm not trying to be that guy, however in terms of maturity, I hope there has been a boost in that. From your previous chargeback appeal, there was this stated:
"In order to get unbanned, you will have to cancel the chargeback which means paying the $200. However since the money was taken without permission from your mother I would recommend not doing that again." (Kerahna)
I think 5 months can change a person but you'll have to prove that to not just me but others.
- I can't really say anything in terms of in-game as I'm not active myself but whenever I'm online, you're frequently on Economy. If you haven't already, try boosting your activity on Survival as well.

These are the factors which make me not support you at the moment but there are a number of things that I love about you.
- You're kind, sweet and friendly.
- You're smart, genuine and honest.
- You do your best.
- You like to engage in conversations.

My only feedback at this point will be to boost your activity, showcase your traits listed in your application in different ways, not just in conversations but when you're helping, your tone and expressions, as well as helping a bit more on the Discord. Don't let my feedback put you down. As soon as I see the change in you, I'll be happy to change my support status. Good luck Haz! I know you've waited a while to apply.
