A couple current issues with suggestions put forward to remedy, are: 1. People glitching into restricted areas. 2. Theft of intellectual property by copying designs in restricted area 3. Stealing items on their way to storage. A possible fix would be to have a configurable space that players can designate as a public area by specifying diagonally opposite corners of a box containing their public area. Essentially a player would go to one corner of their public space and run a command such as ‘/set public’ and then be prompted to select the second point. Then the player goes to the diagonally opposite corner and runs the command again to define the space. The defined space would enclose their /home, shops, grinders etc. and any untrusted player outside of this space would either be ported back into it or sent to their home or spawn in the case that they have no home. By default this public space would be a players entire island so anyone not wishing to use the feature will not need to do anything.
I sure hope this means intellectual property as opposed to referring to an IP address, otherwise you're just wrong.
