Resolved /ah expired items disappeared

I had an item in ah that expired, and I kept it in there as a $50 storage, but the items disappeared.

 

honestly i think the same happened to me, i had a dragon head and i think i /ah it and now its gone o-o

Thanks. When did you auction them in /ah? How long did you keep the items in the expired items list for? How much did you sell the items for?

 

i did /ah a few weeks ago for 1billion and i left it in expired after it was off /ah

To try and confirm that this happened, I will need a more specific time range of when this occurred as what you have provided is too broad. Can you remember between which dates/timeframe this happened?

 

Sorry i just know it was a few weeks ago.

 

I don`t want to intrude here but I remember this specifically happening. it was 64 Monster Spawners, listed at 1,000,000,000 between I believe somewhere in May 1 - May 15, it was the beginning of may sometime if I`m not mistaken

 

Drogo recalls asking Megan about those. She will likely have some input on the matter.

 

As far as I know expired items get removed after 10 days.

From memory Drogo thought Megan removed them as monster spawners aren’t really a thing on Eco. Megan ???

 

Can i get my items back cause ah doesnt give any warning about that

 

The case will be looked into, I saw your stack of monster spawners. I am not entirely sure where the second stack went though.

For now, don’t leave items in ah for storage until we can work it all out.

Mai is looking into it and will get to the bottom of it.

 

I've talked to both Dex and Kerahna regarding this issue. As Dex has stated, expired items get removed after 10 days. That is something we've only recently been aware of.

I have logs that show that you did indeed sell items for 1 million Skybucks, however there's no way for us to be sure that the items were the spawners, and we can't be sure if they actually expired permanently because unfortunately there are no logs of that.

As of right now, I don't have a solid answer for you and will continue to investigate your case to try and see if I can line up the timing of when you auctioned the items, and any in-game logs as well.

As Megan has mentioned, for now please do not leave any items in the expired list for too long.

The team is still discussing how we can go forward from here with this new information regarding /ah, so thank you for being patient.

Key thing to remember: AH expired is not storage or a backpack, you will risk losing the items if you do use this.
