Hey guys, I'm Xethorias. This is my application for Helper!

I am an Australian boy, who is 18, that enjoys playing Minecraft and would love to have to opportunity to become a staff member here! A little more about me.. I work at a retail hardware store while I am on a gap year (aussie thing we do before uni) as well as a pizza restaurant, and my favourite game mode is Skyblock, hence why I've been on this server for over 5 years.

Can you speak any additional languages?
No.

Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence?
Yes, I've got a recording software as well as the ability to take screenshots.

How long can you be active on our platforms everyday?
I normally spend up to 2-3 hours on the server and discord most days, however some days I cannot join because of work in real life. Most players probably won't see me as I play at night and it's normally quiet : )

When did you first join Skyblock?
I believe I joined in 2014, however joined the forums in 2016.

Have you ever been banned on any platform?
Yes, I have been banned and punished on the server. I cannot quite remember all the times, however it does involve chat related punishments as well as disrespect towards other players. While yes I may have a bad history on this server, I did however take over a years break, and during that time I have matured and am not involved in anything negative on the server.

Do you have any past moderation experience?
Yes, I have got a bit of experience with moderating mainly smaller servers as well as one large Skyblock server (which is no longer around).

Why do you think you should become a staff member?
I believe I should be allowed the opportunity to join the staff team for the following reasons..

I am helpful. I am very helpful to everyone on the server including newcomers as well as older players. I have been playing the server for well over 5 years now and know the basics. I also am able to learn new information very quickly, therefore making it easier to answer questions and queries players may have.

I am friendly. I am very approachable and love talking to new people. In the past, yes I haven't been the friendliest person around and was very rude, however this was well over 2 years ago and I have developed as a person quite a lot.

I am not biased towards anyone. I love making friends like the next person, however I am not going to give them any special treatment based on my friendship with them. I would also be unbiased as well as professional when dealing with every player in-game. I believe this is a very important trait that a Helper should have!

I am mature. I enjoy joking around and having fun, however I know when enough is enough and I will always act in a mature manner, as like every staff member should be.

Do you meet the requirements for staff?
Yes, I believe I meet all the requirements for staff.

Between a neutral and a support, your communication with the server works fine, it's just that you could help out more often and be active more Mark is suggesting.

 

I'll go for neutral right now. I've known you for a long time but I don't see you in game. It could be due to timezones and my varying activity levels due to coursework atm. That being said I can't say if you are helpful in game, but so far you seem pretty chill so far. Discord wise I sometimes see you help out but as I said before I don't see you on there.

Improve on your activity on discord, forums, and ingame and I'll change my status

 

Neutral, I've never seen you before, I am Australian and play almost every night, do you only play /skyblock and never visit the other servers? I think it'd be beneficial to jump around and meet a few more people mate. Goodluck

Hi, I am normally on Skyblock around 8-9pm onwards, I am also on classic every couple of days for a while and on weekends I tend to play a bit of Economy however I don't normally type in chat. Thanks for your feedback however

Lovely seeing you applying. I will be neutral at the moment. I do not necessarily see you on Economy or on our Discord actively communicating or helping. Discord is a great way to help out because most basic questions are sometimes asked there and it’s easy for anyone to help them when a staff isn’t. Economy is still another area where staff need to moderate so try to show up a bit there too! Your Survival activity is good. I’ve seen you help out and talk with others. You’re approachable and kind, just boost your activity and I’ll definitely reconsider! Good luck : )

I will be supporting this application.

I do think that you should try and be more active within the Discord (not necessarily in general chat, but you just need to be alert of what's happening as we moderate Discord + answer questions in help channels).

Other than that though, I think you'd be a great fit within the team. I believe you're mature and responsible enough for the position and you're always polite in-game. I see you often as we share the same timezone, and I think that having another staff member on the team with the same timezone would be important.

Note coming back to change from neutral to support after seeing you a bit more ingame and your attitude towards others, I understand most play alot of skyblock but I would love to see the occasional visit on economy. Goodluck in your endeavors

Unfortunately I can't make any judgement on your activity because your a complete opposite time zone and you probably have a normal sleep schedule so I don't you see you at mornings or night time lol.
