Inactive Why isn't island expander working?

I just bought an island expander, but I still can't build past 50 blocks. Should it happen automatically?

 

I’d give it a few minutes and re login, however, you should be able to build past 50 blocks on the default island.

Also are you sure you bought the expansion for the right server? There is /skyblock, /economy, and /classic

 

As bubloe said, try to wait a few minutes and relog to see if this works, as sometimes it takes a few minutes for island explanations to come through.
