Global Player Warps (/pwarp)!

As of right now, only having /visit <Player Name> is something that gives most players difficulty in-game due to there only being one spot their island can be accessed from.

I am proposing /pwarps or /playerwarps, which would allow players to set extra warps on their islands for different locations which would be brought up in a list as shown below in the image I provided. I believe this would be another very useful feature that could be accessed by ranked players and/or bought individually like /fly is now.

I am very open to suggestions on how this would be structured, but this is a general idea that I hope appeals to the staff and players. Thank you!

Sounds like a good idea, it is going to be really useful for trade shop islands with many sections. This feature will definitely make the shopping experience way easier

 

I used to lay on another skyblock server that has something similar to this, you could add 3 different island warps for a regular account and you could add a warp for your shop area and it was very useful for the island owner and their visitors. So this could definitely work. c:

 

I'd support but we'd run into a problem that I believe old .org had. there would be an insane amount of warps.
So possibly only 3 or so per account and you have to have at least 1 day playtime?

 

Hi Pil! Thank you for the response. I did not give any specifications to the amount of warps in my initial post because I don't believe I have enough knowledge on the other servers about their rank structures. However, for Economy, I think that I would limit warps to:

- Elite : 1 Warp
- Highroller : 2 Warps
- Max Purchased Warps : 3 Warps

 

And death warps that I unfortunately died at one in the old org.

Thank you for your feedback Bert! I believe with the same capabilities as /visit has today, this wouldn't be an issue.

 

Maybe have 1 warp as a member and as you upgrade your rank get 1 more? And still have a maximum ammount of warps (3)?

 

Support 100%. this would help so much. We can't build everything in the same space nor do we want visitors having to run 1/2 mile to get to another feature. Can't see a problem with death warps as damage is off for visitors anyway. yes a max of 3 sounds good.

It’s a good idea but I don’t really like it.

 

As I expressed in-game, I think this would be a great addition! Support.

 

I SUPPORT THIS ADDITION:
1# Its a very well thought out and put together feature that can be used for countless different reasons
2# id love to see it on multiple different islands on all servers that need it to see what people would do with it
3# I have a few uses for the concept myself that id LOVE to finally be able to do.
If anything new is to be added into the game right now player made warps is a really good choice, full support from me!

 

/pwarps would be amazing! As for me as well as a bunch of other players, I don't want high traffic on my island, I'd rather it be all in my store. My store is right next to the void so I set my /sethome there but it is quite annoying having to fly all the way back up to my island. I give my full support!

 

100% support! I think this would be a really fun addition. I could use an extra warp or two at my shops!

 

Support! Seems like a great idea for warps so players can warp to different parts of the island like shops, grinders, a casino or another build. I hope to see this implemented.

 

Support! The old skyblock server i used to play on (Shut down due to owner being not good) was super successful with player warps and it was an amazing feature! How it was setup that only ranked members can set warps. So id say Elites and up can /setwarp's. On that server they would sell a warp setup.

 

Old eco used to have this and was one of the more enjoyable parts of the community - so why not? Supporting.

One option to prevent the issue on .org with too many warps and warp name abuse would be to limit it to 3 and not allow unique warp names. For example:

• shop at /pwarp1 BadPeteNo
• casino at /pwarp2 BadPeteNo
• mob grinder at /plwarp3 BadPeteNo

Even if we could only set one per island, I would still prefer a different spot for when players visit and when I /home.
