Economy Updates - July 30th, 2020 Redstone Limiter - We are now limiting the usage of redstone per chunk. If a chunk experiences over 1750 redstone fires within 10 seconds, the redstone within that chunk will be de-activated. A redstone fire is an event such as a piston retracting, a redstone torch blinking, a rail being activated, etc. And for those unaware, a chunk is a 16x16 distance. If redstone within a chunk gets disabled, it could be re-activated after 60 seconds or will be disabled entirely, manually re-activating the redstone current will re-enable it. If the warnings are ignored and the redstone machine is not modified however, it will only continue to get blocked. More info here: Skyblock Update - July 28th, 2020 | Skyblock Forums

Greetings, Sorry but i'm going to be slightly negative about this update. I do not mean to offend Noobcrew, the developers and all the staff who have worked so hard to decrease server lag. What I am about to say will be me speaking my mind as a player who has played on this server for quite some time. In all honesty this update was not needed for economy, we already had a decent 19tps a lot of the time. This update greatly affects many peoples (including my own) Spawner and Pumpkin farms. As a result daily income for many players will take a massive tumble. To combat this loss of income some players will invest in Sand for mega Cactus farms. This will also lead to inflated prices of Sand which will affect people who need to buy Sand for items such as Concrete. Some other farms that will likely be affected will be Stone gens, mob farms and 0-tick Chorus Fruit farms. Other redstone contraptions such as item elevators and large piston doors will be affected. Some positives however are less server lag and decreased Grass prices which is great for terraforming. Some questions I have are: Would there be another way to obtain Sand based products such as Concrete without having to craft it from sand? Will the alt limit be increased as a result of the redstone restrictions? Will the /fix timer be reduced as stone gens will have to become a lot smaller? And finally, will these redstone limits be extended in the future to be more accommodating? Thank you for your time, otter360
What is going to be taken away next? We cant fix often enough to make it worth having, we cant use redstone in any meaningful way. The sell all command cooldown is a pain. Soon we will only be able to stand around and chat. Sorry for the negative but I really don't think the server needed this.
The server must run at 20tps to be fun remember? The rest of the gameplay doesn't matter as long as the server runs good! Next update they will remove mobs because they are laggy but we get 19.8tps average instead of 19.7tps!!!
Agreed. I've lost some motivation to get on and work on things as they'd likely get nerfed in the next update. I really thought the server was running fine but oh well.
