Skyblock Tighter rules on "official" drop parties.

During DPs the staff team kick anyone who has more than one account online. This is much easier said then done, as there is a lot of people who come online at these times.
My suggestion, is, instead of kicking people, that they should receive a temp ban, say of an hour.
Another possible idea, could be to kick people who have more than one account on the same IP, however, this will not be a fair system as siblings and people living at Universities and other such places will suffer.
It is very unfair to have more than one account online during the DP, and I believe it should be more strongly enforced.

 

Actually, last drop party, some people were actually tempbanned for an hour or so. I, myself, and other staff members did indeed banned a few people who kept on logging on after we kicked them so ehh kinda support?

 

I agree about universities and siblings. Maybe if they're on the same ip the (imma hide this because if someone with alts does it - yanknow)

Neutral my alt got banned for 1 day even though I already won a head so there wasn’t any chance for me to win anything

 

On the economy christmas one last year 1 person (like 1 acc) won 2+ heads.

We are currently discussing how we are going to cope with all the extra players online during this year's Easter drop party, particularly because this one will be like none other where we will see hundreds of players due to stricter government rules in lockdowns and quarantines around the world.

I personally think that this is something we will be doing throughout the night, ensuring that all players have the same chance of getting a prize this year, but this is hard to moderate.

We can't do anything except please, please, please do not make it unfair by using alts. You'll just be banned.
Be nice, kind and fair to everyone else by only using 1 account.

 

I like your approach, but it can be difficult for us to manage both the hectic chat during the drop party, other players who need help and the alt issue.

As Southwark said above, we do the best that we can to make drop parties fair and fun for everyone. We’re in the process of working something out with the alt situation, but we would appreciate it if everyone could try to give others a chance to win.

perhaps they could like turn off all redstone stuff and add more spaces to the server due to corona
