Implemented Forum trophies & ranks [WOW!]

In June of 2019 we had a forums trophy revamp on Mineverse:
New Ratings, Trophies, & Titles! | Mineverse Forums

I suggest doing the same or something similar on here.


Add new forum ranks and list them in an official thread in Guides&How-To

• New Member - 0
• Member - 5 (it says 10, but I have 9 and I have member so...)
• Active Member - 70
• Well-Known Member - 180
• Experienced Member - 220
• Senior Member - 280

Consider the max amount of trophy points you can currently get is way above 400 I think more should be added. Could come up with some original new name or take inspiration from mv and do "Boss Member" or "Legendary Member"


Add new trophies.
You should click the mv announcement link to see a full list of the trophies we added, but in particular I think these are obvious choices to add:

• How long you've been a part of the forums:
  Special Member (30) Been a member for 2 years!
  Ancient Member (40) Been a member for 3 years!
  Legendary Member (50) Been a member for 5 years!
  
  
• How many posts you have:
  Can't Stop! (10) You've posted 100 messages. I hope this took you more than a day!
  Talkative (15) You've posted more than 500 messages! Keep it up!
  Addicted (20) 1,000 messages? Impressive!
  (makes sense to have one in between 100 and 1 000 lol. Makes it feel more like a progression than a sudden big jump)
  
  
• The amount of positive ratings you have (your green number)
  420 (5) Content you have posted has attracted 420 positives.
  Admired (10) Your content has attracted 1000 positives.
  Charming (10) 2000 positive ratings! Good job!
  Love you 3000 (10) 3000 positive ratings! Unbelievable!
  Charismatic (10) 4000+ Positive Ratings!
  (again, progression feels better than a sudden jump from 420 positive ratings to 4000 lol. 4000 is also unobtainable by the average user)
• Other fun ones we added:
  Someone hates you! Congrats (1) You received one negative rating.
  Happy Birthday! (2) Celebrating your birthday on the forums!
  2FA (5) You've enabled 2 factor authorization. Gotta stay protected!
  Find me in-game! (2) You've associated your account with Minecraft.

 

Support. I would really love to see a trophy revamp or at least adding new trophies, new ratings and new forums ranks. Its nice to see some new changes made around the forums since it really hasn't changed that much lately.

 

100% support, I have no idea how the member titles work now, and it’s about time they changed.

 

Yes, this forum needs a revamp on the forum trophies & this server has more players than Mineverse does, so the forum deserves something new.

Support, I’d love to see something like this implemented.

After a while there’s a cut off for trophy points which are realistically achievable for the general player, and some seem to be stuck at active member.

It would also be fun to add new ranks to work towards as there seem to be a lot of Senior members around too.

Switching to neutral if you think about it
The trophies for 5k msgs 10k msgs and 4K positives which add up to a combined total of 160 points have only been achieved by a handful of people
3 have achieved over 10k msgs
7 have achieved over 5k msgs
17 have achieved over 4K positive ratings
The average person on the server has not achieved all 3 of these trophies
Another thing is there already is a 1000 positive rating trophies it’s

Received 1000 total post ratings.
I know it says total post ratings but if you look at my account I have over 1000 post ratings but not over 1000 positive post ratings and I do not have the trophies

only way I see adding more titles is adding more achievable trophies which isn’t very much to add in my opinion.

 

Post rating means literally what it says; a rating on a POST. Ignoring your "thumbs up"-ratings you have 725 ratings in total. This just means out of the 513 thumbs up that you have, less than 275 of them were from actual POSTS, which means the majority are from profile page messages being liked.

A profile message is not the same as a forums post

I only suggsted the ones in blue. The others are already a tropy.

I suggested adding one for 500 messages (there are currently only trophies at 100 and 1000, which is why I think there should be one in between)

And I suggested adding 3 below the 4000 positive ratings, which would be 1000, 2000 and 3000 positvie ratings. You yourself is soon about to hit 1000, but the current trophy you'd be able to get is at 4k. I'm simply suggested adding more trophies further down.

I also think the 4k positive ratings should stay as it is possible to be achieved. The members who have been able to gain this amount are literal legends and deserve cred for their consistent activity and effort.

 

I don’t know what you said doesn’t make much sense
If it’s only post rating then the section called post rating wouldn’t match my positive ratings received but it does, I looked at some more people’s profiles and people over 1k positive post ratings don’t have the trophie
