I mean it’s a pretty cool idea but adding this as a new island in the existing /skyblock is not practical and therefore will not be added.
Going along with ideas like this, a streamer I watch did a full series of this. basically Skyblock but you get a random item every 30 seconds. He then did a multiplayer series with jschlatt EDIT: I tried this with my friends and with about 8 of us it was really fun. It triggered me having to sort out storage for all the items though.
This video makes me realize I could become a kid's YouTuber with millions of views and subscribes just by yelling and acting surprised by basic plugins/datapacks. Catch me on the top of the YouTube charts next year
To be fair, the video I posted is aimed at an older audience of around 18, compared to Unspeakable who is aimed at like 10 year olds.
I saw that before. You can get a lot of materials from that block. I think it could be fun through. But I bet this will take a lot of time. BUT IT DOES LOOKS SUPER FUN!
Oh wow that YouTube video has over 2 million views. Every time we make a video about this server or we playing on it, it only gets 10-1000 views. But for the topic, yea those kind of Custom Skyblock Worlds are fun.
i was just showing to a group i thought may be interested. but i also thought it could be used on the server they'd just have to change the output chances or blocks allowed like say only 30 grass at the beginning then no more and not as many or any ores. it just replaces your bedrock with an infinite spawning source to mine lol i think it would have to be its own world with a currency system. though i realize it probably wont ever get implemented i thought it would be a cool skyblock world version.
It would be fairly straightforward to implement on a server laid out like what we have now. Bigger issue would be figuring out how to handle currency and such, which ranks transfer (if they do at all), and then setting up warps and spawn. Would get a bit muddy any way we went about it, though, and not sure how well that plugin/datapack does on performance
But how do you get a tree? Is it in a chest, and the chest is the only block, or do you mean (in the video) that if you break grass, it comes back, and sometimes a wood block appears?
Occasionally while mining, a chest will appear as the block. The chest can have various saplings and flower types inside of it.
