Ok, SO. Many people on the server have argued about how our skyblock market fluctuates way too much, and that the prices increase to benefit the rich. What you have to understand about this is that inflation will always play a part in the market. For example, supply and demand: Without MA J, nether stars are impossible to get without buying, therefor no supply= high demand. People tend to call this artificial inflation, but the source of the nether star has been completely cut off, just like a limited edition item would. Although we know that MA J will be fixed in the future, the prices of beacons will skyrocket. When people bring up the fact that this is somehow "scamming" it irritates me, because they lack the understanding of supply and demand. Am I being too inconsiderate of others? Or am I just speaking the truth?
I agreed. I faced a lot of people saying this, too. But, still nothing can be done if they don’t understand the market.
This is 100% true; and has always been the case. I am sick of hearing people complaining about inflation- yet they buy a rank. This is the wrong server for that. You aren't inconsiderate at all- and I'm glad someone said it
