KIDS SHOULD I APPLY FOR LIKE HELPER WHEN I REACH 50 POSTS

I'm an admin on another server. And i want to apply for this server. But im not sure if being online nearly everyday is helpful or not..? How do i reach 50 posts quickly without spamming..?

 

Since you are Admin on another server I’m not sure you will be available enough for the requirements of Helper on this server.

I dont need to patrol the server anymore. So i thought i'd apply for this one here because its not closed.

 

I thought you said the server wasn’t open yet? How did you patrol the server if it isn’t open for another 2 years?

 

We had a test run of the server which lasted a week. It failed horribly. I patrolled it during the test run. They opted to shutdown the server for a large 2 year period for optimizations in the anti cheat.

Seems very unlikely they would close the server to re-/develop the anticheat for two whole years. I would have thought a couple of weeks at most. If it were me and this was the case, I would just invest some money into buying a prebuilt anticheat as there are some decent ones out there, if you know what to look for.
This seems very unlikely to me, the story.

To get to 50 posts quick, there aren't any special tricks, just be active and discuss things here on forums, but do not post farm, as this will probably affect your application. Also, it’s not all about the quantity, it’s better to have 50 high quality posts rather than 100 low quality spammed ones. Best of luck reaching 50 words.

 

If you are intent on applying for staff, post count isn't all that matters. Sure, being online everyday is helpful, but not solely that. You need to be active in the community, and that also means helping players, and responding to threads when and where necassary, not so you can reach 50 messages. Players won't support your application unless they see you as someone they can trust. You need to be active on forums and in-game, responding to players where needed.

It may be best to wait for a month or so (as a minimum) after you reach 50 messages, before you apply - to get to grips with the server.

Adding age back could either benefit the team or backfire. I was first promoted when I was 10, and have been on the team practically ever since. Maturity does have something to do with one’s age, but it is something that can grow and develop on its own. I have met many players with a range of ages over the years. There were many younger players who were very mature for their age and others that were immature for their age (which is commonly expected among these ages). I have also met many older players (players that range on the older side, not necessarily adults) that were both mature and immature. I think that if an applicant shows that they are capable of being a staff member, there is absolutely no reason for them to not apply and see if they’ll get the chance.

Applicants are required to hide their age as this is an online Minecraft server where we respect people’s privacy and what they choose to keep to themselves. You do not have to reveal any personal information about yourself that you do not wish to share. If the idea of having someone very young on the staff team is a big issue for you, try to look past their age and look at what they’ve done (how they help the server and how they help others). Age truly is just a number, and it doesn’t make or break someone’s possible future on the staff team.

You can always create a suggestion on adding age to the application format or requirements, but I do not believe it to be beneficial to the applicant or the staff team when looking at possible helpers.

I can see how you find it unlikely and i understand that. However, the server wasnt just closed because of the rubbish anticheat. The server has to be rebuilt, they need to find staff. They have alot more than just the plugins on their hands.

 

Well anyone can apply WITH the Helper Application requirements,

I wouldn't apply for Helper because I have some people I need to improve relations with and I am way far busy other than playing this server and staying in it for hours.

50 posts is nothing the requirement should be bumped up to 200.

 

You can still be active on forums with 50 posts, however, I agree on increasing the word requirement

 

how about adding a word requirement to be mod? Quality over quantity!
