To mentain a good shop & earn money from it in skyblock, here are some tips that have been tested (on economy!)
1: Try and mentain cheap prices for your items, but not prices that will make you loose money.
2: Keep your shop restocked commonly. Shops that do not restock their items commonly will loose customers, so restock yours commonly, but if you cant, leave a notice so people know that it will be restocked again soon!
3: Try and sell some items that alot of people buy, for example if you were to sell just end crystals, not many people would come to your shop, so sell something that lots of people would come and buy!
4: As dumb as this may sound:

Try and keep your shop looking decent!

I hope these tips help you make your shop! It took me a while to get these results so please leave a positive comment if you liked it! Thanks! -ViralSB

Sorry, few quick spelling corrections to help you out, along with comments...
*maintain, *Skyblock (I do capital S to specify the server instead of the game mode, though that isn't needed)

*maintain, *lose. I may also suggest adding a spoiler, or diving a bit deeper into each of these sections after each bullet point. I'd mention things like how you determine these prices, such as visiting other people's shops to see their prices, as well as looking at buy/sell values on /shop to get a baseline of what your limits are for how cheap/expensive you can make something.

*lose. This is a very helpful tip. Also applies a bit more to Economy than it does to Survival, as people have no way to check how many items you have left in stock on Economy like they do on Survival. I think it's also important that people view realistically what they can and can't sell. It is very tempting to have shops for every block/item you can imagine, but if you don't have a steady source for that item you're selling, it may be best not selling it until you're sure you can supply it.

*a lot. Another good suggestion. I think players can still sell those less used items, though they should be pushed off a bit out of site, leaving center stage or the main areas of your shop for the common items. It's also good practice to make items you know you can easily restock the most easy for players to find, with harder items slightly off to the side, or in a separate room. Things that people often want to buy, like keys, wood, grass, sand, stone, and various mining items like redstone and iron are good to have front and center.
This is something that you definitely do very well, as your shop on Economy is beautiful :p This is something that many players will struggle with at first, though. It is difficult to organize shops in a clean and easily accessible way, while also making things still look nice. If you're able to pull it off, though, it rewards you greatly. When people like the look of your island/shop, it makes them more likely to buy from you, and more likely to think of you when they're thinking of a shop that they should go to to quickly buy or sell some things.

Overall, a great guide. Fix up the spelling mistakes, and maybe delve a little deeper into each of your points, and you've got a perfect lil guide for all aspiring shop keepers ;)

How about you go to /skyblock and /warp info. There's a whole board there on how to be successful (which I agree with too).

The board is more so general success, than specifically running a good shop. There is some overlap, but I think this thread could be useful as a detailed, shop/Economy focused thread
