I’ve seen this happen many times in the past and want to address a flaw in the voting system which causes players to lose out on the $25 voucher, being completely innocent.

What is it? So to my understanding, the way that this works is the votes start counting up at the start of every month from 0, and players can vote on vote1.skyblock.net, vote2.skyblock.net and vote3.skyblock.net on the 1st of the month. But vote1.skyblock.net resets again on the first of the month and you are able to vote again, resulting in players having 4 votes on the 1st of any given month. Then the player can continue to regularly vote every day, and end up having 91 or 94 votes at the end of the month instead of the usual 90 or 93.

Many players have been affected by this and have been accused of ‘exploiting’ the voting system etc, and I don’t think the players affected even know what is going on.

(I believe players who have ‘extra’ votes at the end of the month are disqualified from receiving a $25 coupon as stated by Leeroy)

So you’re saying that the people getting extra votes “don’t even know what’s going on” but they should be disqualified??
    Doesn’t quite sound fair.

Edit: having reread your post, I see you’re saying that these people “were” disqualified?
If that’s the case then yes it’s not fair. If the voting system allows it, you can’t penalise them, you fix the voting system. That’s like putting a bone in front of a dog then kicking it if it eats it.
Easy fix is to allow everyone to vote on all 3 sites. Good for them and Skyblock, but only use the two sites that reset at the same time to determine top voter.
Until it’s fixed, don’t kick the dog. It’s not his fault you put the bone there.

I’d be interested to know if people have been disqualified for this because I find myself in this situation now having voted on all 3 sites this morning after the vote count reset and again on vote site 1 since it reset 4 hours later.
Leeeroieee , any chance you can confirm this please.

I believe you’ll have to miss out a day to not get disqualified, so you don’t end up with 93 votes.

The players with extra votes aren't disqualified, just the extra vote is removed
