Closed A new way to Privacy.

Hello, I was thinking about placing a lot of valuable blocks, but I do not want them to be stolen by people I have trusted to build on my island etc. I think there should be a way to private items without ruining the look of your island with 3 million signs. Name tagging the items ‘Private’ could work. Anyone got any ideas or agree?, thanks.

 

I guess something similar to what I suggested titled ‘Limited/Semi/ trust’ (won’t let me link it).

Either restricting an area of your island, or at least disabling a setting like ‘Mineral blocks’ in a GUI menu.

And i think something like that would be nice! I have some people trusted on my island and some expensive blocks, I don't have anyone trusted that i feel like would take any of my stuff, but being able to set some sort of boundary so you can be sure they wont be taken.
For now maybe you can /lock your island and delete people from the /guest list to make sure they wont get to your island while you arent on?

Why would you trust people that you think will steal ur stuff. I mean the command is /trust and them stealing your stuff is obviously a breach of that.

 

If you trust them for a long period of time though. Like map artists.

 

No support I don’t even know how this would be implemented, I’m pretty sure there’s no plugin and making one would take for ever when we have more important issues like lag to worry about.
Adding a certain area where people can be trusted would just make it too complicated and confusing for new players.

 

im neutral but leaning towards support as i figured there would be a way to modify the /fill command in creative to something like /allow so if u put some coodinates in it would lock/unlock that part that u want instead of filling it with something. I'm not sure whether this is difficult or not tho.
