Did you read the rules ? I have read the rules, but quite a long time a go however. I was completely unaware that this was a bannable offense, and I apologize dearly for that. I have re-read them now, at Server Rules | Skyblock Forums

Why do YOU think you were banned? I believe I was banned for my carpet duplicating machine on my alts island.

Was this an incorrect ban? Yes, it is a correct ban.

Have you ever been banned before? I have been banned before mistakenly for "scamming/stealing" or something on the lines of that, but was unbanned shortly after as it
was a misunderstanding.

Why do you think you should be unbanned?
I think I should be unbanned because I was truly and genuinely oblivious to the fact that carpet/rail dupe machines are prohibited on this server, as I have seen many other players on this server use a similar machine with the same purpose to gain mass amounts of carpets and rails. This mechanic also seems to be allowed by Mojang itself, as it has been discovered in game in 1.8 (2016) and has never been fixed (1.14, 2019), so it had seemed right at that time as a person who hasn't looked at the rules in a long time to assume that this was allowed, which I was wrong about.

But now I know that this is illegal, I will learn from this experience and not repeat my mistakes again. I am very and deeply sorry for causing the staff team trouble. I completely understand the consequences for my actions on this server, and if you choose not to unban me, I will completely understand why you have chosen not to.

I will also take down the machine on my island after I am unbanned, and more than happily void all of the carpets that I have gained illegitimately.

I am afraid that I have built these machines for them myself to be completely honest with you, as I did not know this was bannable. If I do tell you, will you ban them? Or unban me?

I've only built one for Ericfully and that's the only one I know off, that's all.

I don't know anyone who has/uses one, no, sorry. An efficient and effective way to check is to see who sells rails/carpets at crazy rates (1755:1) for example. It's just creative use of game mechanics

Out of curiosity and just saying, this mechanic has been in the game since 2016. The way you're asking questions makes it seem like you've never even heard of it? Sorry once again, just curious!

I am extremely extremely sorry and apologetic, and I fully and completely understand now that duping is not allowed. I will never duplicate again in any way or form, and I also understand now the consequences of my actions. Once again, I am sorry for my actions and will never repeat the same mistake I have done. I will learn from this, and I will always be sure to check the rules if I'm uncertain if something I'm doing is illegal or not. 52Phenomenon, I owe you an apology.
