What happend to the change logs? With any small change there used to be a change log talking about what has changed. I have missed them for a while, but recently hoppers started moving more items, and today I came on and was told by players redstone was disabled. Changes like these would be perfect for a change log. Just changing things without letting the community know causes quite some upset players....
They literally disabled all kinds of redstone and redstone devices? I heard this from someone on discord, so its probably the case. They've gone too far this time...
dont forget that the redstone economy is now going to be ruined because of this lol wait does that mean that iron doors are basically useless now
im pretty sure they will reenable it its not going to be disabled forever but until its enabled again im not playing and yes I think every small change should be posted about in change logs
totally disabling redstone is no "small change". it's literally a core aspect of minecraft. even without redstone the server still lags so hard anyway, what was the point lol
but if it eliminates a lot of the lag, they might get rid of it forever.. i dont even want to talk about it nevermind, this is ridiculous
it would just be better disabling hoppers we didn't have them in classic and we were still abled to live without them. I think hoppers are crashing the eco their allowing everything to be automated we used to farm bones will our inn's were full with hoppers thats automated.
i honestly am not so sure that its going to be temporary they are going to limit redstone in some way, when pigmen spawners were disabled it turneed out to be a permanent nerf in gold farming this might mean the end of automatic farms im so sad
The problem is, you can’t just give people stuff and then take it away like that. If hoppers were such a problem on classic, why were we given them on survival? I can understand having huge generators takes up a huge amount of server resources, but set clear rules in place first rather than going off on them for doing things that weren’t technically breaking rules
Hello skyblock. We are sorry that everyone is having a negative gaming experience. We understand that redstone works are an integral part of the server. While we are not yet certain what is happening, let's put some trust in our developers to see this through. They have already started looking into the problem. We kindly ask for your patience until the situation can be resolved.
I think they should make limits to 10 hoppers per island. You don’t need such huge limits. I don’t think they should be disabling redstone as it’s a core function of basic Minecraft. But one thing is a hate it that people are afking and everything is automated... that takes the fun out of minecraft. Like why do people need huge farms to get 200dc of cactus...ect.. Blows my mind
Hey everyone. We have an update to share with you about the broken redstone. Noobcrew and Leeeroieee have said they a plan they will use later to improve the situation. Until then, let's hold tight together.
I get that they are trying to fix stuff and make it better, but they should really let us know so people understand whats going on. Just a small post with something that tells us whats happening would be nice.. Edit: without having to dig through other posts.
