sheep spawning

So today I tried to spawn in some sheep, and when I did /spawnmob sheep:blue I ended up with a black sheep. So I tried more colours and many of them seem to be off or incorrect. Same with the amout, I get 1 when asked for 2. Anyone know whats up with this?

 

Yeah it's been happening to me too. I tried to do spawnmob sheeprange or so and it always spawned white sheep so I thought it was weird. Not sure what's up with it but I'll tag Leeeroieee to see if he knows why

 

Would love to know why, dying sheep just isnt worth it when you need multiple dc's of wool

 

The updated version of Essentials no longer allows players to specify the color of spawned mob. The colors are now determined by standard game rules, such as the current biome.

 

Is there a possibility of you being able to adjust that with your magical powers?

 

We don't have the resources to maintain or modify third party plugins.

 

Would it be possible to recreate it on your own while keeping the rest of the plugins or is there much more to it than I'm imagining?

 

It's a little more difficult than you may think but if Lee is interested I may be up to making one myself that functions properly as I have developer experience on servers,
