Hi there, I'd like to propose that those with access to "/ec" or "/enderchest" outside of the Nether be permitted to use it in the Nether also. I personally play on the Economy server and this is currently not permitted. I checked right before making this thread though, and it seems the same thing occurs in the Survival server too. There are two main reasons why I am making this suggestion, 1. I forget to take my armour out of my enderchest before going into the Nether and only realise after I'm too deep into the Nether that I forgot my armour. 2. I put items in my enderchest right before going into the Nether to make sure I don't lose them in the off-chance I die. To, once again, only realise after I'm too deep into the Nether that I put an item into my enderchest that I actually needed, such as my Diamond Sword or a different Pickaxe. Perhaps there's an actual reason for this being disabled that I am unaware of. I quite understand /fly, /god and /tpa being disabled but have never understood as to why it'd be a detriment to allow players to access their enderchests from the Nether. Thank you for your time and consideration. Liqorice
Support, it's good to have extra space to put stuff into so you can mine loads of items instead of having to /is everytime your inventory is full
i think its not enabled for a reason, for example if you were dying you could pop a quick /ec and put your stuff in there i think its a way to not make it too easy for people
I totally agree let’s say you fall in lava and you have so much quarts doing /ec and dumping al the items in there defeats the challenge in the nether It’s not ment to be a friendly place, after all some people call it hell No support adding this would ruin the risky and challenging aspect of the nether
I see, I see. Thinking about it, that is a good point. I don't think it'd be too difficult to prevent the usage if you were sustaining damage, but at that point it just over-complicates things unnecessarily.
Neutral, this might be too op for players to use, if they are near to death, they could put their items in the enderchest.
It also means that say you had like a stack of quartz or something in your inventory, you could put it on your ec, even if you weren’t dying. It’s just like too safe. You wouldn’t ever die and lose all the stuff you spent ages mining, and that just ruins the whole dangerous aspect of the nether, so no support
