not much more to it than the title says, i think adding an option to /settings that would disable players /fly like they do in the nether and arena would be great. many players host games, or competitions where they dont want players flying for an unfair advantage. Edit: this could be for any or all servers
This has already been suggested somewhere I’m pretty sure but no support. Fly is probably the perk players want the most so they pay good money for it. If people can disable people flying on their island it limits massively where fly can be used and it makes the perk a lot worse. A lot of people who have worked hard to pay for /fly would not be happy with this.
its not like you can die on another persons island still by having it disabled. it doesn't really effect the perk of having fly aside from if someone doesn't want you flying on the island they can prevent it. if it bothers you to not be able to fly on a persons island you can could just not visit it. a person puts WAY more time into their build than fly its self is worth i think a person should have that control over their own islands, just like having the ability to enable chests, or redstone, or switches or many other things that effect visiting players. EDIT: many people probably wouldn't even keep it active at all times but just when hosting games or other things.
like 52 said I believe this is the 4th time this has been suggested. its a perk it shouldn't be taken away you can just block off your island from the places you don't want people to fly at
No Support, Fly is a expensive perk and it should be used anywhere, except mob arena and the nether. (It would make situations/arguments.)
You are missing the point here, everyone is saying that Fly in any circumstances shouldn't be restricted or block on anyone's island. The reason being is that it is a perk that many players have spend their money on and for you to have the ability to just disable that perk when they are on your island is unfair to those who spend money on Skyblock. Please read other people's comment clearly and No Support.
no support if someone enter's your islands boundries while roaming the void they fall and if theyre skylord then they die, also your basically restricting one of our best donor perks and what if everyone did it? then you would only be able to fly on your island and if your exploreing someones island like BertBerry you sorta need fly to see the majority of it
you can die at others islands even with fly if you have /pvp enabled Also, this has been suggested a multitude of times, the general consensus is that its up to the island owner to block off any areas they dont want people flying and tell them they shouldnt go there (or give some indication). Outside of that there really isnt much of a reason to disable fly, even then, allot of people have things only people with /fly could even see on their islands No support.
What would happen if a player flying between islands enters the airspace of an island that has /fly disabled, or if an island owner suddenly disables /fly while there is a player flying within their airspace, possibly over the void?
