More detail to the background of the forums page

Support, I think a change is well overdue.

 

Yes!!!! This would be amazing! We could maybe have uses create it... we can submit are art somewhere and noobcrew could pick!!

Support Ive been a member for quite some time the account change killed me but im here once again Muahaha For as long as i remember we have had a plain Boring And generic background for skyblock forums i too think its time to kick it into gear Something new something that pops grabs your eyes Full Support - Borat4Dubs

So basically, you want a more detailed theme? Support this background was made 7 yrs ago and it's time for a change.

unpopular opinion: it's not that important, it's just a background. plus, anything too detailed can be distracting, though i wouldn't be against a change. plus for me personally, it's nice that the forums have remained relatively unchanged since i joined in 2014. i wouldn't be upset if it were changed, but i personally like the current theme.

 

to add to that, we could maybe make it an option for the people who didnt want it changed (sorta like dark mode)

Random trivia! They actually changed the theme once! Back in 2024/5 for like two weeks then changed it back

I remember it being really plain! Black and blue theme! It was kinda fugly!

It was when the whole geek controversy happened! As you know he made the current theme! (See very bottom of any page)

Looking back at my old msgs this was probably 2013 actualy! Damm so long ago

 

Would it be cool if someone draw minecraft people ranging from staff to popular players? I got this idea because in the skyblock shop you see kits and ranks with drawn out pictures so I thought it would be cool if that were to be on this forum page. But then again that would be either asking/paying someone to do it or someone is super super kind and decides to do it for free.

Tell me what you guys think because I want to know if this could be a possible idea for the future.

 

See, people like the old background. I feel like we should have the option like we had on Dubtrack when it existed, to change the background to what we wanted, it be a picture or a GIF. Then you should also have a dark mode, where it wasn't so harsh on your eyes.

I would love a new revamped background, don't get me wrong, but it's hard to change it under us bc of how many memories it has. I like the simplicity of it, in my opinion, but I also want something custom about the forums beside your picture/name/your stuff, yknow? It can be what you want to see everywhere, like, for example, I could take one of my aesthetics and change it.

If a custom background is added, you could make it a premium perk maybe so it influences more players to buy premium?
Because I love my life-long premium I just kinda hate myself for dropping the money I did on it bc I don't really see as many perks as I do when we first got it. I feel like premium should be more inviting, and this is my opinion on how to change it, and incorporate 2 ideas in one.
