Before you even move that finger off of your mouse to tell me that this can be abused, I'm aware. Getting down to the main idea, I feel as if we don't put as much emphasis on the forums as much as we do on the servers themselves. I feel like a lot more of the players could benefit from using the forums by offering suggestions, increasing the want or thought of applying for staff, increasing the amount of applicants to choose from, and more possibly diverse threads in the discussion and off-topic categories. As for incentive, we could have a new sort of leaderboard sort-of deal in the members tab to see who has the most referrals. Each player is given a unique referral code when they verify their account on forums. If that is too much, then maybe add a /forumsreward <code> and in the email used to verify your forums account, the /forumsreward code will be in there. Maybe 5-10 grass (or $1000-2500 on economy) could be offered. And PER IP. If people are caught abusing it, maybe have certain perms revoked as well as the grass or cash. It's a long shot, certainly tedious, but I think we would see a lot more new faces here. All opinions welcome below
Support this can increase forums activity only leading to positive things for the future of skyblock I like this idea
One code per forums account, and they have had to use forums for a bit before getting the code, I think this could be a good idea.
support honestly forums is active but more of in a gray zone between active and inactive so pushing the forums would be Really good your point on the applicant part is nice too also maybe more forum trophies?
Per ip means that brothers and sisters can't both get the benefit of this incentive. I'm not really sure about referrals, because the staff would be tagged the most since they are most needed for help. I would greatly prefer positive ratings.
A lot of work for such little return, I doubt this will incentivise the forums whatsoever, the content is only getting more stale as the years progress, there is nothing to talk about anymore. Unfortunately, I don't think this will work and would be a waste of effort. I appreciate your suggestion though.
