Honestly the most streamlined experience I've ever had in my life. This drop party was beautiful, the Easter drop party of 2019, the server wasn't too full or too empty, I didn't get anything but dang did I have such an exciting time. I'm glad all the server donations and funding is going towards providing a usable Skyblock experience and I hope events like this in the future continue to be, Plus Ultra and amazing. Much love, much love
Crew has said that they are already on the maxed out specs they can get with their hosting. You have to remember that from the donations they need to A. make enough money to pay for the hosting, better hosting = more money B. make profit from the server otherwise there is no point. C. Pay the developers (and possibly the managers) 99% of the time the server does not need to cope with that many players. If it had a bigger playerbase then they would improve the hosting because they would be able to afford it. The only reason we get so many players at DPs is because all the players from different timezones who a lot of the time some of us may not see join, and we get a lot of old players such as myself coming back. So really, don't go complaining about stuff like this, it isn't their fault and they can do everything they can unless you are willing to donate a couple of hundred.
I would ultimately suggest the best solution would be to randomly allocate items to players who were logged in before/during the dp. I was in about 20 minutes beforehand and got repeatedly disconnected. Now I can't join at all and the game says "Kicked while connecting to skyblock: Server is restarting be back soon!"
