Closed Do something about mob killing.

I don't like it when mobs on your own island get killed. I'm getting tired of this, someone keeps coming back and doing this to me. I have read this [Acceptable Hacks/Cheats | Skyblock Forums] and it says "Combat Hacks (Not allowed in PVP, Spleef or Mob Arena) These hacks are intended for personal use at your own island or with permission from others on their islands and not for any advantages.". Either it's someone trusted or someone untrusted is definitely using /jump or some sort of combat hacks or fireworks on my island and getting away with it...but there is no way of figuring out who killed mobs as mods don't have such a command to use and they can't do anything about it other than try to replace the mobs themselves. But some mobs are hard to replace (such as withers and llamas), or this problem will just keep repeating if the perpetrator is unknown and can't be island banned. So I suggest that mods should be able to log mob killing or somehow even fireworks usage (voting fireworks doesn't count) which might be separate from logging weapons/tools/fists. That way mods or players can deal with anyone who are killing mobs or hacking without permissions. Or does anyone have any other suggestions or comments on this?

 

Mob settings probably need to be looked at and all things that work to kill mobs (pushing, striking etc) on all mob types should be disallowed. Even with hacks you can’t bypass those island rules.
When it comes to bypassing /trust it is way too easy. Having a barrier around islands that stop you from entering an island via flying to it unless trusted would be nice or at least a setting for it in case people have double islands and want people to explore well

 

But isn’t it a bit tricky? Some people want mobs as pets and also want a public grinder on one island. Unless you mean being able to toggle mobs one by one instead of all at once. But I get what you’re saying, ways to avoid problems all together without bothering mods to log block mobs all the time.
