Denied [CavemanBen] major looting, suspected duping, persistent rudeness towards other players [Console]

It was zim who reported it to me originally and wanted his items back. If I can, I'm going to try to have a conversation with zim about the whole thing so I know for sure what went on here, so I can figure out exactly what happened and if that aspect of the appeal is resolved. I'll keep you updated if I get the chance to speak to him.

Regarding your duping - with the original items, why didn't you go straight to a mod? Receiving 500+ diamond and emerald blocks from a drop party isn't a regular thing.

Why didn't you go straight to a staff member? This isn't an issue that players should be handling and you should have gone straight to a staff member. Is there a reason you didn't?

Again, you should have gone straight to a staff member about this and had it resolved.

I would like to point out that holding onto duped items / using them is just as illegal as duping them yourself, and if you got 500+ diamond and emerald blocks from a player and had any suspicions that they were duped, you should not have held onto them and should have gone straight to a staff member.

If you didn't know from the start that these items were obtained illegitimately, why did you store them in abstract locations and co-ordinates on many different islands? It seems to me that you may have known about these items being duplicated, but you didn't do anything to get it resolved.

Why are you only just mentioning this story now? If this is the reason you created that video, why didn't you tell me in your original appeal? You had plenty of chances to do so, but you never mentioned anything like this to me once. In the original appeal, whenever I presented anything to you regarding your duping you came up with multiple different reasons for it and tried to backpedal on the video you made. Why didn't you mention this story then?

One final note, before you were banned you had been island farming across multiple different accounts. To me, this indicates that you didn't have any intention to follow the rules and were more concerned with the items that you had.

I just went in game and got up the logs of you moving around diamond and emerald blocks. I teleported to the chests you were moving around the blocks, and here's some of the co-ordinates I found and the islands they led me to:

You took 495x diamond blocks from a chest at -598:68:2401. This led me to an island belonging to cjluciani.
You took 13x diamond blocks from a chest at -203:204:-7800. This island belonged to Skylandia.

These were all blocks moved by your account, CaveManBen. From these two examples, I can see that you hadn't just stored these blocks where you've told me you did.

I would also like you to answer my main question.

Why didn't you tell me this YouTube video explanation in your original appeal? Surely you would have told me that quickly to somewhat explain the whole thing,

 

However, the video was an important part of the appeal, and the video you posted was brought up multiple times. It seems strange that you wouldn't tell me this explanation then.

The discord you mentioned early on in the appeal: can you tell me what you did on that server? Did you only use it to report that you had received duped items?

I will be denying this appeal.

I do not believe that this appeal has added anything significant to the original situation. I do not believe you are giving the full truth and I also believe that you are evasive in your answers to questions simply to drag on the appeal and cast doubt over any evidence presented. Openly admitting to duping and the evidence to support this, despite how you may explain it, is clear enough evidence for us. You have taken both appeals around in circles and your story has changed and overlapped.

You have shown no remorse for your actions and the consequences that they have caused. You haven't apologised for the things you have done; only tried to grab at straws to explain them. You haven't' presented a major reason as to why you should be unbanned. With all the evidence, this ban is correct.

You do not respect the staff: if you were holding duped blocks, you didn't go to a staff member. Even if you didn't dupe items yourself, you still kept hold of some. Like I have explained - this is just as illegal. You try to dismiss any questions that you can and you try to grab at straws to disprove anything presented. I would like to add that we are not obliged to give evidence, and I believe that the evidence that warranted your first ban still stands. You have previously been banned and given more chances, but you have thrown that away and shown that you cannot be trusted to follow our server's rules.
