Hm, I'm neutral about this. On the one hand, it would be nice if you wanted to know if you were in top voters, but some people (including me) secretly vote for their ALTs and don't log in until the end of the month, since if you don't log in topvotes doesn't really update. We know vote2 uses username check, and many people have experienced problems with it. You can always log in, even via your phone and run the command.
Ohhh is that why when I’m chat someone gets all the vote chances like extra grass block ect is that because they log on at the end of the month?
Yeah, some players think they are "hackers" because they have like 10 lucky votes but the truth is that they are a lot of votes which show up at once.
It would also be a lot easier for people who want to mess with the other voters and ruin their chances. Also, I believe you have experienced this
Ok... so then shouldn’t we remove the vote2 leaderboard + /topvotes? It should be one way or another.
Can't remove vote2 leaderboard since skyblock doesn't own minecraftservers.org (Or at least I think they can't), and /topvotes can be useful, even if it has some downsides
at the end of the month lee or a manager posts the winners lol plus if you won they send the coupon code to the in game /mail but what ur asking is , litterally posted , just click home at the top of forums
Somewhat off-topic question, but when they choose the top 10 voters, do they just pick the people who show up in /topvotes? Or if we had 20 people who had 93 votes, would they all get it? I noticed that /topvotes changes as players vote. Like if I vote right as a vote refreshes and go to /topvotes, I'll see my name. An hour later, a bunch of other players vote, and are equal to me in votes again, and I'm not off the leaderboard. Looking at past votes, it looks like not as many people were going for it. But now it seems like a lot of people want it, and I know at least 15 people committed to being top voters this month so they can buy rank ups. Relating this back to the original post: would the forum post just show what /topvotes shows? Or would the forum show everyone with the highest number of votes?
Alright so when the month starts, the first 10 people to vote for the server will be in /topvotes. So, if there are 30 people with 93 votes at the end of the month, those first 10 voters will be given an advantage. I don't know if I made myself clear. If there are 20 people with max votes, the server will take into account who voted first at the beginning of the month.
