Hey, I see a lot of people asking for upgrades in game so I decided to make a quite how to easiest get an upgrade, I think it’s pretty easy at the moment. Here is some tips and options how you could do Option 1: (make a thread on forums) This is a short but detailed step how to make a good thread on forums. Make a thread on forums, this doesn’t work so often but sometimes it does. You need to make it in the right section and click discussions then click the right /server where you want the upgrade, here is a pic where it is: When you make the thread, make the title like this Looking for an (ur upgrade cost) upgrade. Then in the thread write like this: What am I looking for? Just simply write something like this: I am looking for an (ur dollar cost of upgrade) and what I want is (what you want) on (be specific what /server you want it for) What do I pay? I will be paying (what you pay) on (what /server you pay on), then make a list of what the items are worth in total so the person who upgrades know. It’s a list on it just scroll down and you should find it. What do I do if I am interested? Here you should write what the buyer should do if he/she is interested. I would prefer making something like this: If interested just simply reply down here with this format: In game name? When can you do the upgrade? Then when it’s time for you to get the upgrade just ask the buyer to buy you the upgrade and you pay when it goes through. If he/she doesn’t accept that just simply ask a mod for help say what the trade gives your items to the mob and the mob will pay the buyer when it goes through. Option 2: (ask people in game) Here is how you should do when you are looking for buyers in game. The first tip is just simply to ask in general chat, just do it clean like this: Looking for a (cost of ur upgrade), msg (player name) or /mail send (player name). This is just simple and clean. The second tip I got is to go to shop.skyblock.net and check the last buyers, looks like this: Look at the names and try to contact them in game and say hey, who upgrade you? And they will answer them self or someone else. Then you can just ask them or the person who upgraded them. This is actually a very effective way, I have used this a couple of times. NOTE: don’t be rude and nag on them because that’s just annoying and you get smaller chances to get upgraded by them. Then when it’s time for you to get the upgrade just ask the buyer to buy you the upgrade and you pay when it goes through. If he/she doesn’t accept that just simply ask a mod for help say what the trade gives your items to the mob and the mob will pay the buyer when it goes through. Option 3: (post on our discord server) When you are posting on our official discord server make sure to post in the #buy_and_sell channel because it’s where you should be posting that. When you are making the msg keep it simple don’t write a bible about your upgrade simply write something like this: Looking for a (cost for ur upgrade), dm me if interested in more information. Then when someone msg you, you should just say what you are paying or if you have made a thread on forums just link that because then they get a lot of information. It’s not so much you can do in discord, maybe just people you know or something. Then I recommend you to be kind and same as here as I said on previous option, don’t nag people, they will just think you are annoying and ignore you. Then when it’s time for you to get the upgrade just ask the buyer to buy you the upgrade and you pay when it goes through. If he/she doesn’t accept that just simply ask a mod for help say what the trade gives your items to the mob and the mob will pay the buyer when it goes through. Option 4: (vote) So I just want you guys to let you know that if you would be 1 of the 10 people that have voted the most during a month you could get a 25$ gift card that you can shop within shop.skyblock.net. So here are some tips to get the most votes You could make an alarm on your phone that rings every day and say: vote. I wouldn't use this because I just have it in my mind when I wake up in the morning. But an alarm could help some people. You could also ask someone to vote for you, this doesn't work all the time because people want to vote for them selfs. But it could always be worth a try. If you are 1 of the 10 top voters at the end of the month you will get a mail in game from a staff member (often Leeeroieee) and in the mail, you'll get a code that you can redeem to get those 25$ to buy things for. NOTE: you can only pay with gift cards once per 24h. Here is a picture where you should redeem your gift card code: Upgrade prices: Here is a list of how much items are worth when you upgrade so. But you might need to overpay the buyer a bit since they want a value of it. Note: this prices is the net prices, so this is not the prices for .org stuff.
