Since this month started o voted everyday at 7am in the morning. After that when i try /topvotes i am 7th and after couple of hours im not there with the same votes with others.

 

I mean that happens to most top voters so when you vote again you would be on the list but later you would shift down as others would vote.

 

That means i wont be on top 10?

 

Well it depends mostly on what time you vote but theres a huge possibility you might be on top voters tho dont take my word on it

 

The /topvotes command just gives you a basic idea. The actual calculation we do at the end of the month is a bit more involved and takes into account tie breaking rules when multiple players have the same vote totals, and also includes checks for known alts.

At the end of the month we sort the players by total votes so players with more votes are higher on the list, and then sort players with the same number of votes by the timestamp of their final vote, so the players who achieved that vote total first are listed higher up than players who reached the same vote total later on. We also check for known alts to ensure none of the top ten voters are known alts of each other, to give more players a fair chance to win.

So at the end of the month, all that really matters is how many votes you got for the month and for the number of votes you got, how early you got in your final vote compared to others with the same vote total.

There is an element of luck to it, though. Noobcrew is the one who resets the vote totals at the end of the month. He tries to do it as soon after the start of the month as possible, but the exact time can vary by a day or two, so it is possible to get in a few extra votes before the cutoff. But since it's impossible to know which vote will be your final vote (the only vote whose timestamp matters for breaking ties with other players) it makes it harder for players to game the system by timing their votes a particular way.
