Skyblock Skyblock Update - September 6, 2018

• Made some performance improvements for event handlers to help reduce lag
• Added compatibility layer to support /is and /island commands - these commands exist from a public plugin on other servers and this makes it easier for newcomers to use familiar commands to match our custom commands. Adds supports for the following new commands (/is can be used as an alias for /island for all of these):
  • /island ( go | home ) - Create a new skyblock if you don't have one, or return to it if you do
  • /island create - Create a new skyblock
  • /island ( reset | replace ) - Start over with a new skyblock. Warning, your inventory will be cleared!
  • /island level - Check your island's level. Note, to reduce lag, only recalculates once per hour
  • /island top - Shows the top islands leaderboard
  • /island cp - Opens the main control panel, which show things such as friends, challenges, etc.
  • /island settings - Opens your island's settings menu
  • /island biomes - Change your island's biome for a small fee
  • /island spawn - Teleports you to the server's spawn
  • /island ( coop | team | party ) - Shows information about your coop, including who the leader and members are
  • /island ( coop | team | party | invite ) <playername> - Invite a player to join a new or existing coop. Note, if the player accepts, their own island will be removed. If an existing coop, can only be used by the coop leader.
  • /island accept - Accept's an invitation to join another player's skyblock. Note, if you accept, your own island will be removed.
  • /island ( reject | deny ) - Turn down an invitation to join another player's skyblock.
  • /island makeleader <playername> - Transfers leadership of your coop to another member. Can only be used by the current coop leader.
  • /island ( lock | unlock ) - Locks or unlocks your island. When your island is locked, no one can visit you.
  • /island ( trust | untrust ) <playername> - Trusts or untrusts a player to build on your island. Be very careful who you trust!
  • /island ( kick | expel | remove ) <playername> - If you're the coop leader and they're a member, kicks them out of your coop. Otherwise, sends them to their own island. Use this if you need to send an AFK player home.
  • /island ( ban | unban ) <playername> - Bans or unbans a player from your island. Banned players can't enter your island even when it's unlocked.
  • /island help - Displays the above help
• Added an ore generator capability
  • Cobble and stone generators now have a chance of producing coal, redstone, lapis, gold and iron ore
  • Players are permitted to use silk touch or fortune to harvest these ores if they want to (note that as in vanilla Minecraft, iron and gold ore always drop as ores and have to be smelted to obtain the mineral)
  • These ores are legal to own and trade
  • Diamond and emerald ores cannot be obtained via the ore generator, however:
• Diamond and emerald ores are now craftable via two new custom recipes
  •

  • These ores are now legal to own and trade and can be harvested using silk touch, fortune or any other natural enchantment available in-game

WOw this is amazing, good work staff!! I have one simple question tho: if you make a diamond ore and break it with fortune, dont you have the change to get more then 4 diamonds back?!

Diamond ore follows vanilla Minecraft mechanics. It drops nothing if broken with the wrong kind of tool (for example, if you break it with your hand or a stone pickaxe). It drops a single diamond if smelted, or if mined with an iron pickaxe or better. Fortune III gives you a small chance of getting 2, 3 or 4 diamonds (20% chance each), but a 40% chance of getting just one diamond.

Because of this, it's probably not a good idea to break diamond ore blocks without using silk touch unless you really need the diamonds for something else and can't get them any other way.
