Server Restarts

Every so often the server restarts and if you log in within a few minutes of a restart you get sent to Classic SB.

Whenever this happens the chat goes wild with comments asking where their island is. So I was wondering how many people never find out that the server is just restarting and think that their island is gone forever, leading them to quit SB. That's why I think that there should be an announcement of some sort telling them that in a few minutes they can get back to their normal island by doing /skyblock before the restart or after the restart in the Classic SB chat.

Making this announcement with prevent people from quitting because they thought that the server reset completely.

 

something like a broadcast along the lines of:
[Broadcast] You are on /classic right now! /skyblock will be up momentarily.
when the server just restarts, and then when skyblock comes back up:
[Broadcast] Skyblock is back up! Do /skyblock to rejoin.

 

Support usually after the restarts when I come back and find myself along with a bunch of people in /classic they would be mad and wondering where their island are so I have to keep on telling them to go to /skyblock for their island ;p

 

Yesss!! After every restart, there is always a few people who freak out, thinking their island has been reset! 100% agree with the idea!

Support, definitely a need for this. I've witnessed some of the confused players, and it isn't nice.

 

Or maybe we shouldn’t be able to join until the servers back up and you log in directly back into Skyblock? Then people who wish to go to classic already know the command.

 

Yeah, that would probably be better since not everyone would see the announcement
