What level does furnaces give you?

 

Furnaces currently have a value of zero, as with all tile entities.

 

That sucks, most leveling systems have them give you 5-10 for some weird reason lol

 

They used to here as well, until someone made an island with 20,000 furnaces and it caused the server to lag out because each furnace has to be checked for updates 20 times per second.

Once we bulk-replaced the 20,000 furnaces with stone, the problem cleared and we dropped the value of all tile entities to zero to discourage their use as filler material just to gain levels.

BTW, you mention wet sponge, but not dry sponge. Is the value different?

 

This guide is long outdated with block level changes.
