Island level not calculated after a certain distance.

After getting a lot of building materials for a project, once we were a certain distance under the island, the island level stops going up. And we figured out that when you build below Y coordinate 150-153, block placement does not contribute to level gain.

Is this a potential bug?

 

I sent a PM to Matt already earlier today. I had the problem too

 

Had this problem too, lost 215 levels when moving beacon to cover whole island. Just try to keep it above that level for now.

Yeah this bug has affected me since day one. I thought everyone else was just doing way better than me cause they were quick to level while my level wasn't going up at all. Would love to see it fixed

 

I’ve got a 101x101 platform I’d love to have in my island level. I was wondering why moving my farms to the island from on the platform raised my level, as I was just copying them. Then I placed my beacon at the bottom to cover my entire island and lost 215 levels and figured it out. Glad it’s not just me.

 

Gamzee24 Not that I'm staff and actually *know* anything... But reading threads in "help" well... Helps.

 

Any updates on this? I believe this is an important issue.

 

This has been fixed. The /level command now covers the entire buildable space on your island, including any purchased expansions.
