Many people experience bullying and don't know how to handle it.
Today, I will be expressing tips and tricks to handle this situation.

The example I'll be using takes place with only one bully, if you'd like me to create another thread that takes place with a gang or anything else, feel free to msg me.

    Step 1: "STOP"

This should be your first thought once you encounter a bully. If their bothering you or forcing you to do something you don't want to do. Just simply say "Stop". This'll express your emotions towards the person, which will make them feel bad, most of the time.

    Step 2: "Tell somebody"

Most people are scared that telling somebody will make this problem worse, but it really wouldn't. Tell your parents, your close friends, your teachers. At least somebody you trust. Make sure this is a person you trust with all your heart.

Step 3: "Stand up for yourself"

Yes, you'd have an advantage if you were in better shape than the bully, but don't let that bother you. Stand up for yourself, this makes the bully know that you're tired of their bs. Be brave and confident, don't let the bully know how you feel.

    Step 4: "Ignore"

Try to ignore the person, most of the times this works. This gives the message that you're not interested in them.

    Step 5: "Fear"

Don't live in fear, show confidence, never go to the bully's level. Just be yourself, and know it'll be alright in the future.

Bullying is everywhere. If you see somebody getting bullied, stand up for them.

saying stop doesnt work or make them feel bad, just makes you look like a weak person. tell on them you get your asswhooped, and get labeled as a snitch ignoring them is the only valid option u have here

Majority of times, people have stopped their bully by saying stop/ telling on them.

Just stand up for yourself. That way they will know you aren’t weak and won’t mess with you.

I dunno if I've been bullied or not--I don't think so--but my main tactic if someone is trying to insult me, is to laugh and agree. "You're short" is pretty quickly shut down by "I'm fun-sized". If you make it seem like you're all laughing together, it's like a self-depreciating joke between friends, rather than an attack.
I could be wrong. I was lucky enough to go to very small and friendly rural schools without any bullying issues, so I don't have much experience.

Saying stop doesn't help lol, I've been bullied many times (few of which were me liking planes :( ). What I find is that sometimes they are just messing around with you and in that case maybe a fake laugh might help. But if it is happening on a constant basis, then you need to stand up--speak up and be serious about it. If the bully says "no one will protect you" just keep in mind that there are millions of people willing to support your a**. :)

There are dozens of people who can help you. It can be your best friend( though it isn't the best option) but becareful though they may side the bully. It happened to me many times in 5-6 grades it was terriblr. You also can tell your favorite teacher, a security guard at your school, etc.

im sorry if you disagree however i found saying 'stop' works well amongst the younger people such as 5-12 y/o's. ;)
i mean this thread shouldn't really be discriminating those ages as they're the ones who usually don't know how to get rid of a bully, just the simple words 'stop' can be used as a way to stand up to the them.
-not like any 5 y/o's would be on the forums :eh
