New Server D400 elytra (creative item)

It has come to my attention that the staff is planning to eliminate the donor400 creative item on the new server and give all existing donor400's and future one's an elytra. In my opinion, this item is just about useless except for it being a future rare. The elytra is a pair of wings which allow you to glide through the air. This would be useless to donor50's and above since they already have the ability to fly and can fly in any direction of choosing, unlike the elytra. To top that, elytra's will be illegal to trade. My suggestion is that the staff stick with the same old system of selecting a chosen creative item or even make a set list of creative items, after all, people are paying 400 U.S. dollars for an in-game purchase.

Why would elytras be illegal to trade?

Also, having creative items is not a good thing for the server as the owners want to keep the economy very limited at the start so no one is able to obtain many rares and already be rich, there has to be time to buy those rares. That is why no creative items will be given, to keep the economy basic until further notices.

Now that I think of it, I'd say you guys are right, but I agree with what Krissy says, it should be limited to a certain amount of items. I still do think that the elytra should not be the one and only creative item.

 

I want the server to be clean, not full of creative items

 

I think we could have a choice of items picked by Cyp to make sure the economy doesn’t get flooded so people don’t get bored of having elytras.
Maybe just random rare items that are illegal to trade or something like that.

 

I would rather the new skyblock be like 2012-2014. Clean and like single player skyblock with the multiplayer aspect and none of this being the richest on the server junk.

 

Elytra is a great item for Donor 400. It isn’t like flying you could do many more other things with it. Also it won’t be the elytra the only rare since we will have different Drop parties with different items.

 

I believe we should have a choice of the items picked by Cypriot to make the economy clean. It wouldn’t make a lot of sense for elytras to be illegal to trade. I’d decide to be more like 2012/2014 style like Wonkie was saying.

I agree because some people on the current server are too obsessed with becoming the richest on the server and this could help lessen that that possibility.

I also like Krissys idea to have 3 or 4 items to choose from versus just getting the elytra. I know I’m going to get donor400 sometime in the future and It would be cool to have more than one option to choose from ^-^
